just picked my bear up and it looks amazing.

this has nothing to do with hunting but just wanted to say boy am i beat just spent a little over 4.5 hours putting together my 2year old sons train table and train set. i didnt take any breaks there were so many tiny little parts to screw together and to think i thought it was gonna be an hr long project until i opened the box and the instructions looked like a blue print to build this crazy thing lol. when little man wakes up in the morning and sees his train set it will all be worth it.

very nice collection. i found a shed a few weeks ago while shot gun hunting in a hedge row between 2 cornfield it was chewed up pretty good cant eevn tell what size deer it came off of must have been a really old shed.

got a gandermountain gift card and looking to buy a .22 scope for plinking a couple times a year any suggestions. not looking to spend alot of $ i only plink with it a couple times a year.

just having that many sighting would make for a crazy fun and excellent season then getting a couple good bucks just tops it off. congrats on your season.

i usually have a guy at gander change my string and cables for me he charges $29 install fee. usually with the new cables string and install it usually runs me just under $80 for everything and thats picking any color string you want. also the guy usally tosses everything back on for me the peep and everything else and i make a few tweaks here and there.

i actually got hooked up on the mount he took over $400 off ive been there 4 times in the past 2 years and sent more then 20 people to the taxidermist over the past 5 years. im always very pleased with the work and hes very personal with you even if you dont see him for a few years he remebers you by your first and last name and remembers each animal you brought in. remebers your profession and kids i really enjoy that.

i take my down each year, in the last 5 years ive had 7 stands stolen people cut the locks and end up taking everything. i use to leave my screw steps in and my stand up inbetween hunts now during the season after each hunt i take my tree steps out to make it harder for some one to steel my stand then when i know im done hunting that stand for the year i take it down so that i dont have to make a seperate trip back out just for the stands. i also take my seat cusion out with me after each hunt so that its dry for every hunt.

this is the only bear i have ever seen. my buddy that i hunt with seen 2 in the park while we were bow hunting in 2009 but you cant shoot them in the park. another friend of mine hunts in the town of sheridan and he sees a few each year.

thank you guys. its a half bear mount i cant remeber the exact name of it but ill ask the taxidermist when hes done next week. ive never seen a bear until i got this one but we were seeing sign here and there last hunting season. this year i didnt see any sign until this past sunday when i was doing some stalking with the muzzle loader i came across some real small bear tracks on the same farm that i shot this big girl off of.

thanks guys she was a really big girl we had to quarter her out she was estimated at over 400lbs. i cant wait until its done next week its gonna look great on the wall
