thank you guys. i really love the white patch also it gives it a nice some what unique look. i think my 14 mkonth old daughter likes the bear the most when ever shes in a fussy mood i hold her up to the bear and she cheers up right away and starts laughing.

me and 2 buddys went out squirrel hunting in 9n today i seen 3 reds my buddy seen 2 reds and his brother seen one red. the wind was crazy the squirrles all seemed to be hanging in the very top of the pine trees not really moving much at all i was luck enough to see the 3rd squirrel 20 yrds away half up the tree that was the only one taken today. still felt great to get out and walk around. i would say that i easily covered a couple of miles and between the 2 of them they may have covered a couple of miles none of us crossed a deer track or a coyote track the entire day.

a few pieces of siding flew off the back of my house. i wish the pieces that came off werent so high up so i could do the job my self seeing that they were about 35' up looks like im gonna have to spend some money on having it done. dam wind.

i think the yotes will be down for sure

some bucks have already started to shed there antlers some start as early as december and others will hold their head gear between now and march. im gonna look for some this week when i go out small game hunting. good luck

i was also watching them on you tube some great videos on there. your not kidding the review are some of the best ive seen on hunting products seems like almost everyone was giving it 5 stars. i also noticed most people were saying how much easier the brackets make it to raise the stand up into the air. im hoping to be able to build one early spring. good luck

im glad you psted this because ive been wondering the same thing. the past couple weeks ive been watching videos and stuff of people using these bracketsand they seem to really make the job alot easier. thanks for posting im sure you will get some good answers

congrats that sounds like it was a very fun and productive way. me and a couple of friends are all gonna go out wed or thursday and do some small game hunting then im hoping to be able to come home and make some fresh small game stew.

the one near me in buffalo at the galleria mall didnt have any rests or stands on sale earlier this week when i was there but im gonna have to go back tomorrow thats a steal for some ladder stands. i did pick up a bunch of 8x10 and 9x9 tarps from dicks this week onsale for $2.48 each and a fire pit for $25 an easy fold out camping cott for $25 they had a bunch of mummy sleeping bags rated for 20 degrees for $15 and so much more camping kayaking stuff on clearance. they also had some really nice scent loc jackets for $50 and the matching pants for the same price and really nice insulated bibs for $35. i called the wife told her i bought a new fire pit she loved it. then when i took out the garbage and her and the kids werent looking all my extra goodies that i bought went up the back stairs and into the attic lol. thanks for the heads up phade looks like another trip back to dicks tomorrow.

its only 3 acres but it had a house on ibut it was vandelized realy bad everything was stolen out of it over the past couple of years since it was abandoned. everything the dry wal ripped down furnace wood burning stove and all. so now its only value is the land wich isnt much at all but i have permission to hunt the land around it and theres state land and a friends land less then 10 miles away. the county clerk doesnt think the bank will pay the taxes since its not worth anything anymore. when you purchase land from auction do you have to pay the back taxes and any other leins on the property? or are all the leins wiped clean before the auction?

its my grandmothers old place she kind of let it go a few years ago she still owes alot to the bank way more then what the property is worth. she owes the bank around 30 k plus 3 years of back taxes. i spoke with the county clerk the other day she said that the bank has until the end of april to pay the back taxes or its going up for auction in may. i would love to buy it and just pay the back taxes if there wasnt a lein on the property.

just wondering if any one has bought land from auction? im going to a county auction this spring and already have the place picked out that ill be bidding on. i was just wondering how these things usually work? maybe a step by step process if you wouldnt mind. just trying to see what i have to look forward to.

if they would open some of these suburb areas to bow hunting that number would probably quardupal easily western ny really has some really nice bucks.

i shot the snyper 2 blade 100 grain mechanical for years me and the guys i hunt with all used them they were great always opened then they sold their design or whatever to field logic and te rage was born almost identical broad heads the rage is just a little bulkier then the snyper was. this year i switched to the rage since i couldnt find any snypers and i was very pleased i shot a nice 8pt double lungs dropped in its tracks. my buddy that i hunt with shot 4 does none went over 75 yrds and another buddy took a monster 8pt that went 40yrds and a doe. very pleased.

i was sitting here looking at my bear and realized i never took any pics of her paws or claws.

i took a picture of a skunk in the woods on the last day of the late season this year it was an all white skunk with a black stripe very cool looking skunk. i told my wife shes lucky it was laying there dead other wise i would have had to get it stuffed. i coudnt tell what it died from probably natural causes no holes or anything in it.
