anyone who owns an xd9/40 subcompact have any suggestions for good holsters? I just purchased an xd9sc and want a good IWB holster for every day CC. I know a bunch of the popular brand names but I dont know anyone who has any of these? Holsters I have looked into are as follows. Comp-tac -Ctac -Mtac Minotaur Crossbreed -SuperTuck deluxe Desantis -Scorpion of these I like the desantis scorpion and the supertuck deluxe.; Any one own these or have used them before?"???

One of my first doe ever taken was dragging its rear end using the front 2 legs through the woods during my first bow season. I took her, turns out she had a chrushed pelvis , butcher said it was move than likely from getting hit by a car. when your are about to get attacked you dont have time to think, just react which means you dont have anytime to rack the slide then point and shoot. Tests prove that when their is an attacker Ex: with a knife at 20 feet away from you . and he lunges toward you to do you harm you have approximately 1.5 seconds or less to react. in that high stress environment you would have to realize the threat unholster rack the slide then try and hit the attacker. all in 1.5 seconds. Extremely difficult without the proper training. So to answer your question. yes it is necessary to have one in the chamber

I am actually in Orange county the town name in Monroe. However I have purchased ammo from that same dicks your talking about as well. I use to live in Putnam. I never had any problems with ammo purchases from the kmart in mahopac..

Yea my walmart did away will firearm sales as well. This was the first time I had this happen. I have purchased ammo many times in the past from this store. I will try again the next time i need ammo but I may write a letter to the regional manager as well, as stated above. unbelievable!!!

So I went the the local walmart the other day to purchase a few boxes of .223 with my brother in law ( he tried to purchase .45 ACP for a rifle) and the cashier asked to see our permit for the ammo......I replied there is no such this as an ammo permit. then she replied she wanted to see the permit for the rifle.....??? again i replied there is no such thing as a rifle permit. I then asked for the manager and wound up in an argument over this because he said in order to purchase the rifle ammo I needed to show them a permit. eventually after about a 15 minute debate and being denied to make the purchase I left the building and. I suggested that he check the local laws because he was mistaken and the computer system was wrong.. its a shame cuz usually their prices were cheaper then everywhere else..

I posted a link to the NRA website a week or two ago or so on a different topic. They are trying to pass law for I believe the county to ban bulk ammunition sales over the internet. However, the bill says you can buy up to and including 1,000 rounds of any caliber however it has to be from a dealer, you have to show ID and the dealer has to report the caliber and amount of ammo bought to the local law enforcement.. However people have been trying to ban AR type rifles for a long time now and succeeded on certain areas, (large mags etc...) I hope this will not happen.if so I will buy a burrial tube from cheaper than dirt and hide my AR in the back yard just in case SHTF!!!!

I have a 3 spots in Monroe near my house one in goshen and one in florida. @ of the 3 spots in monroe are loaded with mostly doe and a few spikes seen 2 4pts last year and the year before that I seen a 14pt nontypical. during bow season he was way too far away and after that day i never seen him again. my other spot has a huge buck on the property I havnt seen him yet but I am gonna try and get him this season, after last season ended I went into an area i thought might be good and found these scrapes. I have another picture of a scrape that was on a branch at my head height I am 6'1" tall I was not able to upload that one sorry. I found about a dozen or a little less scrapes like these alll around one area they were within 35 yards of each other. This is where I am going this year I cant wait

well I met with the judge this morning and he granted me my CCP, just gotta save up some and buy a pistol. I choose the sig p250 subcompact 9mm and eventually I want to get the smith and wesson bodyguard 380 as well. Although by the time I have the cash in my hand I might see something else I like... I can never be happy with just one

Yea that is bad. but not uncommon. I use to live in Ulster county and worked as a vet Tech and I have work on dogs at least a few every summer. all those quills are not good. The sooner you get your dog to the vet the better off he or she will be. they can go into shock from that.

Im sure he could charge that much for the dish. There is a retaurant by my parents that sells exotic meat dishes and i went there and ordered a venision dish. sounded great on paper and tasted awesome... however I got four 2" -2 1/2" slices of meat and veggis with mashed potatos. and was charged $28 I had to stop at burger king on the way home so I felt full.....

[ thanks for the offer I live in the town of monroe but it is in Orange county. There is a indoor range locally and the next time I get a chance Im gonna see if he has any 40 cal's in the range gun case. (rental guns). and ill give it a try. however, I have decided that i am more then likely to go with an M&P shield, my secondary choice is an M&P compact, if I cant get a shield, they are a hot item right now and nobody has them in stock and most wont know when they will get them in stock again..... still havnt figured out if i want 9mm or 40. Ive talked to a few of my law enforcement buddies and they all carry 9mm. so that says something right there to me.chances are if SHTF most would fire off a few rounds center mass anyways whether you have a 380 9mm 40 45 or 357. My thought is I just want to be able to know that I get a few quick shots off without messing up my follow up shots. I want them all to connect. I just have to try the 40 i guess

if you have an iphone just plug the charger into the usb slot and into the phone and save the photo to the computer then follow the steps i wrote above

once you send to your own email save the picture to your computer then when you go and post something and want to add a photo. click on the "more Reply Options" button next to the post button after you click that scroll to the bottom on the area where you type and click "choose FIles" under Attach files from there you select the folder you saved the photo in double click the photo and you will see the website try and upload the photo automatically. You will see a blue bar fill to the right. once that is done click "add photo" then click add reply. Then your all done. its easier then it sounds
