Obama's record on gun control

I am gonna waste my vote this year and vote for the independant thrid party that no one hears about.. If there is no good choice I wont vote. However the NRA supports Romney's campaign -
She's right. Those freaking deer have had it their own way for too long!

it happens to the best of us Dave. try not to beat yourself up over this. The best thing to do In my opinion is get back out there and redeem yourself on another deer. It might not make you feel any better about the lost deer but at least it will take your mind off of it for a bit this way you dont loose out on a good season. It sounds like you did everything you could to find that deer.

mother of god.... if i killed that buck he would have been a wall mount for sure.. Maybe a car hit him only 60 yards from the road??

yes congrats to all youth.. i guess the bowhunter concern of being shot by youth was not an issue... wink wink

a few of my friend have summits. I have a gorilla expedition it is a little on the heavy side but easy to use. I bought it 2 years ago thinking I would increase my chances of not getting caught by deer as much . I have not used it yet lol. alot of the area i hunt are very thick and the trees are too thin. I believe you need an 8" diameter tree for climbers to be safe and sturdy. I could be wrong good luck

I use the lightfield Hybrids out of my rifled shotgun they are amazing with knockdown power and very verry acurate. I have shot a couple deer at 110 and 125 yards one shot one kill. although they are a little pricy for 5 slugs I love them and wouldnt change them for anything. Plus they work great out of my shotgun

I ve had to do that a few times, however I usually call the local PD and ask the dispatch if I can do it to save an officer from doing it. They usuallly say that its ok. I have only took the carcass once. Nice fawn maybe a year old tasted great I got alot of meat outta her.

This is not a problem, just a how to question.. I know how to quote someone, but how do I quote a line or two in a paragraph instead of the whole paragraph?

Im in orange county. I originally got my restricted hunting/target permit in putman county back in 2006 took 4 months after I submitted all the paper work. After I received the permit I submitted a non resident conceal carry permit for the state of CT. after the paperwork was complete (which was less paperwork then for NY) I received the unrestricted conceal carry permit in under 2 months no interviews or references. I moved to Orange County a few years ago and the judge at that time was not giving out unrestricted CC permits at all . 2 months ago I heard the judges changed and I applied for an amendment and had a meeting with the jedge later that same week. He approved my CCP for NYS and I rreceived my new unrestriced permit in the mail 1 week later from the meeting.

I would say yes. if using them as bleets, grunts fawn in distress they would be considered electronic calls. I sont think the speakers are loud enough to be effective anyways

I have an H&R ultra slug hunter deluxe 12 guage with scope and sling Im at 14lbs and some ounces. I love the heavy gunsto me then seem more accurate, maybe due to the weight adding in less vibrations and stability. as far as recoil goes. Im 6'1 and 220LBS it doesnt bother me in the least. My brother in law however is alot smaller in height and weight and the recoil hits him pretty hard. He wont ever admit the pain but you can tell when he shoots it, he tends to flinch before pulling the trigger

"Last year I did the opposite and ended up with no deer" John, I have done that for th epast 2 season and ended up empty handed looking for that wall buck.. However opening day I also go for a buck after that its all doe until i get one then back to buck

I always follow my gut. It usually proves to be right and a big mistake when I dont follow it. However I always make sure I follow my gut on a full stomach otherwise it will make bad decisions.... take both and maybe your gut will change its mind at camp goodluck

I do agree. If you are sitting against a rock wall and the deer walking by didnt notice you he or she is probably relatively calm and not on alert, however if you make that grunt to stop that deer its alertness becomes higher and looks right at the source of that noise. at this time once the deer hears the bow release its already ready to drop because you alerted her to you.. I like to practice shooting still and moving targets. you can wire a bow target on a clothes line with a good backdrop and have your son, wife friend etc.. pull the clothes line

ohhh i gues you can use them for that also. I dont see the point of the butt out tool when I gut it i rip out everything including the lineing that connects to the inside of the anus anyways. no tool needed IMO
