Wow there are alot of honest people here. I was always a fan of finders keepers, when its on your own property. My buddy and I have 20 acres in sullivan county all woods and someone that lives around the area keeps coming onto our land and either taking the treestands/ camerass, or destroys them completly. We have an idea that it may be a member from a hunting club that is about a miles hike through the woods

thanks for your comments. I held the springfield in subcompact 45 it was comfy but i dont want to have a .45 and i herd the .40 is a bit snappy and i think the .380 is too small. i figured id go with the 9mm. The only downfall to the is the pricepoint. I know for personal protection it shouldnt be a concern but I like the price of the sig p250 Ive seen as low as $350 and I have a 5 month old so i am on a budget. I will look into the Kahr pistols more. the glock 26 is nice as well but the price tag is a little more then i want to spend

In your opinion, what is the best handgun all-around for daily concealed carry? I've done some searches on this topic, and of course answers always vary, and would like any advice or insight- especially if you've been happy with a particular model, or dissatisfied with another. I am currently looking into two different pistols. the Sig p250 subcompact 9mm or .40 and the Smith & Wesson M&P shield, 9mm or .40 as well Basic criteria is (in order of importance) 1. reliability 2. accuracy 3. concealability/size considerations 4. firepower/ ammo capacity 5. Other (whatever feature you might view as important)

This is a tragady and I feel sympthy for the victims and there families. However This could be thrown back into the faces of most anti gun people..If they truly feel that guns kill people then this man should be dropped of all charges and set free.. I could have just as easily drove my jeep barreling through times square and on a busy night and mow over tons of people killing more than this individual did. So in which case, cars and trucks should be banned because I didnt kill anyone, the jeep did....................sometimes i feel like something like this was plotted to happen using firearms to aid in the presidents quest to ban firearms. Thumbs down!!!!!. May the deceased R.I.P.

oh yeah gun control yeah buddy. just what we need more bad examples for people making bad judgements with guns. as said in an earlier post we should ban cars. as well as other things. I dont know about anyone else but I may look into buying an illegal gun(snub nose pistol and or a hipower rifle) from some illegal gun dealer in the city something with no serial number,. , bury it with one of those burriel cases and when the gov take our guns away I will still have something in case SHTF. not really going to but i should

if AR's work then great however only keep it in affect for a few seasons. then go back to normal for a few then bak to AR's when needed. idk. I dont have this probelm in the area that I live and do most of my hunting. I only encounter this when I go to my sullivan county spot once a year. thats when it gets frustrating.

nice I went to a resort in Pa , and at the same time every day the ground keeper goes to the shed and take outs about 50 pounds of cracked corn and yells out loud BAMBI'S over and over while throwing out the corn. next thing I saw was herds and herds of doe, fawn, and smaller bucks come running from all directions and stand there eating. It was crazy. I have a photo Ill try to attach it. There were more then what you see in the picture. I was within 10 feet of them.

Okay, it's official - Whitetail Mgmt implemented
apoallo replied to nyslowhand's topic in Deer Hunting
that means if you were a youth hunter you cannot have a firearm of any kind or a crossbow.Only a long bow recurve/ compound. Also the adult you have to be with isnt allowed a firearm or crossbow either, just a recurve/compound -
Anybody know of any new updates from NYS Crossbow coalition on the progress for xbows in all seasons?

BOOM! bottom line right here. If you disagree with this then America is not for you lol

I think you are half right. The fault is to the changing laws. not as much the parents fault. I remeber getting a good smack when I acted up or misbehaved. now a days no one can disapline their children without fear of getting locked up for abuse. I was never beaten, however when I was disiplined i learned my lesson. I work at a high school and the kids can pretty much do what ever they want without fear of disipline.. Times are changing, my wife believes there is no need to hit your child as a form of disiplin. I on the other hand dont think there is anything wrong with a "Open handed smack on the butt" -
my hunting buddy got a huge tall and wide 6 point this past season. he sent it to a taxidermist out in North Carolina and got it back in 6 months. and the brother in law got a small 5 point and had a european mount and got that back in 2 1/2 months

yes nice story. I am qondering what grade you got. The story sounds detailed, the question is if the teacher is a tree hugger, hunter, or wife of a hunter. Which would sometimes determine your grade
-
I would hate to see or find out what would happen if he had a taxidermy deer in front of him lol
-
well.... there is a positive side. at least he isnt into children....

8 should be plenty. I have a 14ft starcraft. with a 4hp on it.(lake requirements) and it moves me around with ease. I am 6'1 220lbs and my fishing buddy is slightly lighter than about 200 i believe. thats also with both of our equipment in the boat
