  1. even the weather channel app has it , very convenient
  2. they'll escort you right out the gate at Augusta.. the rest of the tournaments need to get it together and go to a zero tolerance mentality. its gotten really bad in last few years. and we're not talking about 12 yr olds either, these are grown ups doing it also.
  3. could be father & son
  4. that mentions 100 ft diameter with no houses. thought the regulation should have read 500ft ? just a typo?

  8. I was in Passaic county NJ on Sunday and saw the same look on a doe. things changing already in southern zone areas. seems early. maybe the winter weather will be all out of whack
  9. yah of course. figure we have close to 2 months and i'm sure it will change 1 way or another enough to decide to pull the string back or not.
  10. thanks.. definitely some similarities with the other pics that were posted. I didnt remember it being this early but makes no difference if the result is the same.
  11. little early for losing the summer coat, maybe the end of that 90+ degree stretch kinda triggered the coat to change. anyone else see any changes in coats in their area this year or in the past years going into August ? I was worried about their weight also but that could change once Sept comes around
  12. i'll be keeping a watch on it to see if it changes before October. fingers crossed
  13. this doe isnt as drastic but still some spots missing hair
  14. also, the pics are not all the same deer so somethings gotta be bothering them
  15. yah they are in a watershed, damp buggy spot also so hoping it is a bug/ skin surface area and nothing internal effecting their health and the meat
  16. mange came to mind. figured mange isnt all that common so could be something else?? and mange can be passed on to others in the group and it seems a few appear this way. hope they put on some more weight soon!
  17. is this mostly from heat, drought, nutrition, mange, disease? dont remember seeing it much in Aug.
  18. yup full mesh style mask with just the area across the eyes open. they are relatively cheap, then of course practice shooting with it on. there's going to be warm days first part of the season but this style is light and loose not like the winter fleece ones
  19. Facemask all the way for me. easy on, easy off with no mess. plus it helps keeps bugs off.
  20. 10-15% have triplets depending on what study you read. Over 50% have twins depending on the habitat
  21. very cool.. more than one buck could have been involved here for sure
  22. $10,000 yah from back in March 2012.. "The New Black Panther " they go by
  23. what Phade mentioned is a good guideline...the clocks get turned back for daylight savings Nov 3(Sun) this year. the following next week or 2 is a good time for vacation days
