Why can't a hawk come get this red squirrel..... Nothing else moving

Just moved to my other stand. I've been playing a game of cat and mouse with this buck for a week. He has been showing up every couple days at 1400, I'm ready for him today.

What a great day to be in the woods, 2 lone doe this am at 715/745 tons of fat squirrels running around and just had some turkey come through.

Just had my number one come in with a six, he stopped behind some scrub brush and didn't present a shot. I'm still shaking

Saw 5 crossing the road on the drive in about a mile away. Had 2 at my stand when I walked in. Didn't see what they were. It's raining acorns here, hard. First shot was at day break and just heard 2 in the distance. I drank too much coffee this am I'm jittery.

Ah man the arrogance of this guy, "I have no use for normal people." I'd love to bump into this idiot and talk to him about beliefs and the world. On a brighter note congrats on a cool show. -
Driving into work this morning and drove past the field I hunt. There is #1 walking right towards my stand. At least the deer are starting to move again.

Ahh finally the post I've been skimming for! Big congrats on the father-son tag out. Now that the trip is done what's on the agenda for the next trip? Maybe up to Canada for a caribou? Awesome pics, thanks for sharing your experience.

Just don't plan on sleeping inside with the heater, may never hear from you again. Post pics with your progress, this is something I've been toying around with for the last couple years too.

That's it wooly, instead of people paying for guided hunts they need to pay you for a day in the woods. Some of the things you get to see.
