  7. I have stopped my home alarm service. I've dropped out of Neighborhood Watch. I've put up a Pakistani flag in one corner of the front garden and an Iraqi flag in the other corner. In the centre of the front garden, I've raised the black flag of ISIS. I'm being watched 24/7 by the local police, MI5, MI6, CID, FBI, CIA, NSA, U.S. Secret Service and Homeland Security as well as Interpol and Europol. I have NEVER felt safer and I'm saving $49.95 each month!

  12. DEC Region 6 Environmental Conservation Police 2014 Hunting Season Report The 2014 regular deer season (Oct. 25 through Dec 16, 2014) concluded with a total of 353 hunting-related enforcement actions reported by Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) Region 6 Environmental Conservation Officers (ECOs). Region 6 covers St. Lawrence, Jefferson, Lewis, Herkimer and Oneida counties. ECOs ticketed numerous poachers for violating hunting and firearm laws and regulations during the big game hunting season. "Environmental Conservation Police are diligent at enforcing hunting and trapping laws to ensure suitable populations of deer, bear and other wildlife," said Regional ECO Captain, Todd Richards. "While the list of offences may be long, it also shows that the thousands of people who hunt do follow the laws, appreciate the privilege of pursuing game and enjoy their sport safely and responsibly. The majority of men and women who hunt and anyone who enjoys the outdoors will not hesitate to give our offices a call to report potential violations of environmental law, in particular those which apply to fish and wildlife." Region 6 ECOs charged 228 individuals with a total of 353 total charges. The charges included 171 misdemeanors and 181 violations. The breakdown of the charges include: 60 charges pertaining to the illegal taking of big game (55 m and 5 v); 5 possession of firearm during bow or muzzleloader season (m); 12 discharge of a firearm within 500 feet of a dwelling (m); 2 discharge of a bow within 150 feet of a dwelling (v); 5 Penal Law - criminal possession of a weapon 4th (m); 71 firearms related charges (loaded gun in a motor vehicle, shooting from roadway) (m); 103 tickets related to tagging, reporting and licensing (v); 5 charges for hunting with the aid of bait (v); 38 trespassing on posted property (v); 4 take deer with an artificial light (m); 12 use of spotlight with an unsecured gun or bow (m); 1 feeding bears (v); 11 feeding deer within 300 feet of a road (v); 6 false statements charges; 5 Penal Law and 1 false statement applying for a license (m); 14 hunting after hours (v); and 4 additional charges; hunting with barbed broadheads (1 v), hunt big game with semi-auto firearm holding greater than 6 rounds (1 v), and take deer with implement not specified (2 m). One additional charge of illegal taking of a moose resulted in a civil compromise agreement in the amount of $1200 for the misdemeanor plus a $2.50 surcharge. The individual also pled guilty to hunting deer without a valid license and as part of a conditional discharge donated $125 to a decoy fund and paid the $75 surcharge. Anyone with information about potential illegal hunting practices or other environmental crimes is encouraged to contact DEC's 24-hour dispatch hotline at 1-844-DEC-ECOS (1-844-332-3267).

  17. It is total income for the area .As far as the roads I don't doubt the roads are as you say .In this world we live in there will always be those with a different point of view from our own and to a money strapped family offered a lease which may tide them over the road conditions may be a mute point. This is a hot subject most are opposed to the chemicals introduced ,but there is a cleaner answer propane just not as cost effective for the companies involved...
  18. Unlike some places that have banned fracking (Vermont), New York actually has some gas that might be worth going after. Before wells were shut down, natural gas production in New York was exploding. From 1999 to 2006, it rose 260 percent. It quickly dropped off as drilling ceased under a statewide moratorium and a litany of local ones. BloombergNew York state's natural gas output peaked in 2006 New York sits on top of a large portion of the Marcellus shale formation, one of the fastest-growing sources of natural gas in the world. Pennsylvania has taken full advantage of its reserves. The number of gas rigs operating there went from 16 in January 2008 to 135 by September 2011. Pennsylvania now ranks behind only Texas and Louisiana as the state with the most gas production. Story: Will Wall Street Love Fracking as Oil Prices Fall? The sweetest portion of the Marcellus, the region with the deepest reserves, is in Susquehanna County, Pa., along the southern border of New York. The economic activity that’s generated has helped boost total income there substantially over the past decade: Federal Reserve Bank of St. LouisTotal income in Susquehanna County, Pa., home to some of the richest natural gas reserves in the U.S. Just across the border in New York, in Broome County, income has also risen, though not quite as steeply since after the recession. Geologists may never truly know how much natural gas New York is missing out on. There are estimates but you don’t really know what’s down there until you start drilling for it. According to a recent report from Bloomberg New Energy Finance, the shale formations under New York “do not appear as economically viable as the parts of those formations that underlie Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Ohio.” BNEF BNEF analyzed 98 natural gas wells within 10 miles of the New York-Pennsylvania border and determined the wells that potentially could be drilled on the New York side of the border would perform worse than the corresponding wells in Pennsylvania, and therefore need a higher break-even price, about $5.17 per MMBtu, compared with the average Pennsylvania break-even of $3.73 per MMBtu. For the past six years, natural gas prices, based on the Henry Hub spot market in Louisiana, have averaged $3.65. So on balance, fracking for natural gas in New York state might not have been as profitable, or even economically viable, as it’s been in Pennsylvania and parts of Ohio. Industry proponents had championed fracking as a way to spur economic development in some parts of upstate and rural New York where growth has been stagnant for decades. As an alternative plan, Governor Cuomo looks likely to back a plan to build some “Las Vegas-style” casinos instead. If the industry uses lpg propane gas it may warrant another look,
