If any of these suits on stage had a hair on their ars, they would denounce this nonsense and refuse to stand there like one of Cuomo's stooges. I like the part where one of the suits says if you have an "illegal " weapon or magazine you have to get rid of it. Then everyone in the room just laughs at him.

Remember guys....Piers Morgan is British and speaks with a British accent which means he is smart and knows whats best for Americans . So keep an open mind while watching him interview a dumb American. LOL!!!! He is such a British feminine hygiene product!!!!!!!!! He will be looking to boost his sorry a$$ ratings.... Time for him to go back to "Surviver" or "dance moms" or where ever the hell his wimp ass came from....

Do we really need 10 bullets to kill a deer? I mean come on guys....King Cuomo says we don't, and he claims to own a shot gun so he should know all about hunting and protecting himself and his family. Im sure his multi maned security detail gave him extensive information and explained to him that 7 rounds is the perfect number for home defense. The King would never just decide on a number. It is a known fact that most home invaders only load their weapons with 5 rounds, in order to reduce weight. That means we have a 2 round advantage over them. why the resistance??? Done.

Yeah...First he tried to burn it out of its hole by throwing the flares in. Then he was worried that the house would catch fire, so he poured a bucket of water into the hole to put the flares out, but they kept burning. Then he digs the flares out with the shovel and goes back into the house. A little while later the skunk is back, by the front door. He trys to shoot it with my bow, but can't draw it back. Finally he grabs the.22 and shoots it. I remember saying to him " I f-ing hope you were drunk"

About 25 years ago My room mate got into a war with one and thinks he won. The thing was living under a concrete slab near the front door of the house. We would see it once and in a while but he really didn't bother me all that much. On night I was at work and got a call from my room mate (look up city boy in the dictionary...thats his photo) he was freaking out because the skunk was out digging in the lawn, right by the front door. I told him to ignore it. As I was driving down my street, on the way home that night, it smelled like there was a dead skunk laying on my dash board. When I got out of my truck, in the driveway I almost gagged from the skunk smell. There were 2 burnt flares and a shovel laying near the skunks hole, in front of the house. I walked inside to see my bow and several loose arrows laying on the sofa and a bunch of .22 rounds spilled all over the floor. The house reeked! My room mate was gone and I found a note, with an empty .22 shell on top of it. The note said "me and the skunk went at it. I won." I wrote "the hell you did" Then I drove to my parents house to escape the smell and sleep.

I was in Bass Pro Shop (Auburn) yesterday. They had a few boxes of .308 left. It might be worth the drive. I was looking for .357. No luck.

Gander did mine. (CICERO) The regular bow guys that work there seem pretty good. The tall older guy is always there go to him.

Ex Navy seal killed at gun range.
ants replied to ants's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
I just hear a report that the two victims brought the shooter to the range, as part of a program to help vets deal with P.T.S.D. and that the guy turned on them and shot them in the back. What a damn shame. -
Smith and Wesson M&P 40 caliber
ants replied to NYBuckHunter27's topic in Guns and Rifles and Discussions
I carried an M&P 45, for work, the last 8 years. It replaced the S&W 4506, which was an awesome, reliable gun. Personally I didn't care for the M&P. The first M&P issued to me had problems with failure to feed, failure to eject and stove pipes. I bitched, so I was issued a new one but I had at least one malfunction every time I fired that gun. I wasn't the only one. Another problem we had (wont effect you but) is that because of liability issues, the Dept. installed safeties on the M&P's, which operated in the opposite directions as the 4506 (down) and took no pressure to apply. You would fire a few rounds and if your thumb even touched the safety, while firing, the gun would go back to safe. You wouldn't realize it and would think you had a malfunction. Maybe we got a bad batch and maybe the M&P40 is better, but I would't recommend that gun to anyone. -
I just read on line that an ex Navy seal sniper, and one other man, were shot and killed at a shooting range in Texas. This happened sometime yesterday. There were no further details given other than a male suspect was in custody. My thoughts & prayers go out to the families. The media couldn't even make up a better story than this. A double shooting and at a gun range? Hope they don't exploit it.

NRA adding more than 10,000 new members per day
ants replied to Ford's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
I think its becoming more and more clear to people, that we are dealing with some bad people who are hell bent on tearing down the traditional American culture/way of life (of which gun ownership is a big part of ) and replacing it with something else. Obama himself, never set foot on the U.S. main land until he was 17 or 18 years old. Thats a lot of time to be influenced by foreign culture. IMHO he dose not give a rats rear about the American culture, history or the constitution especially the 2nd amendment. -
The guy did the right thing. He didn't even have to provide a first name. You don't have to give info over nothing

They should be fine. About a year ago I target shot with shot shells I bought 32 years ago. No problems at all. I still have some and I'll use them again. Shoot em up.
-
Im upstate, Onondaga Co. There is almost nothing here, other than shot shells and hunting rounds. 30-30, 30-06, 270. and those are thinning out. Forget about the rounds I mentioned earlier.

Where do you live exactly? and what calibers dose the Dick's near you have? Is it 5.56, .223, .22, 7.62x39?? If it is grab some. All of the on line places I have checked offer ammo, but if you look closely somewhere in the ad it will say "Back ordered"
-
There has to be more to it than that. He either had to give them permission to search his car or they had to find probable cause to search it. But if he thought the mags were legal he may have just told the officers about them and handed them over. Why they would then arrest him on such a B.S. charge is open for debate.
-
Nothing yet. But I think after a certain date (not sure when) you can still order it on line but it has to be delivered to an FFL so they can do a back ground check on you.
-
I use to do those back in the 80's and early 90's but I was in the revolver category. It was a blast.
-
I agree. With that much ammo you have to wonder if the guy plans on reselling it to make a profit.
