Even if I did reload, the way the Saiga functions it puts a big dent in the case as it ejects the round. Im sure it couldn't be reloaded. Gotta find the store bought stuff.

Thanks for the info. And yes the Saiga is nice rifle. I love the thing. .223 is getting hard to find though. I was in Gander today & all they had was around 10 boxes of varmint loads. I grabbed a couple anyway. The ammo shelf, in general, was almost bare.

Got over a foot and of course the winch on the ATV died, so no plow...I got the old snowblower started though....Phhhhew

Yeah..I guess my question was semi rhetorical. IMO they did it to get a dig in on gun owners in general, and to call attention to their fish wrap of a paper. The whole focus on the Newtown shooting was on "the evil Bushmaster military type" weapons, what does pistol permits have to do with long guns? I think its great that people are posting personal info on the writer and news paper staff, but including info on their kids is out of line.

What was the Journals reason for posting the names?

Battery is brand new, it died the day I was leaving for hunting camp (OF COURSE!!), and had to be replaced. The winch is a Polaris winch and I heard they had big time problems with them, plus its just about 6 years old. Time for a new one I guess, just bad timing. Just wondering if a non Polaris winch fit in the existing mounts??

Oct.13th. My first time out this year with the bow. Nonstop action from first light. A doe and a spike under my stand for 5 mins. or so. then six doe came down the same trail. A few minutes later a small racked buck behind me in the brush. Maybe 10 minutes after that two deer were crashing through the thicket to my left (don't know what they were) Then around 8:30 a nice six point snuck up behind me. I thought he busted me but he worked his way out in front of me, after he caught the doe scent, and after about 10 minutes he ended up giving me a perfect broad side shot at about 15 yards. I doubt I'll ever see a day like that again.

I had an 935. It patterned great and I bagged a few toms with it. Buuut. The bolt release/tube mag release was a button located on the right side of the receiver, which is where I naturally hold the gun, while carrying it unslung. My hand would sometimes hit that button causing a shell to release from the mag. and get stuck between the bolt and the carrier. Now you have one in the chamber and one stuck under the bolt. It was usually a good 5 minute fix. I got rid of it and went back to the old 835 pump.

Im sure that he was rehabilitated, in prison, and that after he got out society somehow let him down again. What a sick twisted state. Prayers to the families

I think these people know that Morgan won't be deported for expressing his views (nor should he) They just want to send a message. Good move.. The owner of the farm I hunt let a guy in to trap for the past two years. Coyote sign is way down and there are definetly way more turkeys. The owner is kind of funny about letting people on the property and he doesn't even hunt anymore. I glad he let the guy in.

Does anyone know if the stock feature that may put a rifle into the "assault rifle" catagory is folding stock, adjustable stock or both? I got an adjustable, pistol grip stock that I want to install. Just wondering.
