Is a bolt action or single shot 223 an assault weapon ? What about your deer rifle in .308? How bout an AR style rifle in .22LR. Is .22LR "Assault rifle ammo"? Get ready guys.. I think we are going to see a lot of companies fold like a $2 umbrella, in light of this school shooting. To antis?? Yes. I have an old, tube fed .22 semi that was made in the 1940's. It holds 16 rounds. The antis, who concentrate only on the gun, not the criminal, would love to see that rifle banned too. Im sure.

Yeah for 200 you should be able to get something new. I bought my son a 10/22 a while back. Don't remember the exact price but it was under 200 for sure.

The AR "platform" is, believe it or not, one of the most, if not the most, popular sporting/hunting platforms out there. It is probably the number one competitive shooting rifle. But to antis it is the devil because the antis see it only as an "assault" rifle that could only be used as weapon of mass murder. The concept of responsible, law abiding citizens owning such guns for sport, hunting and self defense is lost on them because they only see it as an "assault weapon" or "military weapon". Unfortunately there are a lot of illegal "assault weapons" and high capacity hand guns that are untraceable and in the hands of criminals right now. These weapons will never be confiscated or recovered, unless they are found ,abandoned at crime scenes. Law abiding citizens should be able to possess the same style weapons that criminal scum may try to use against them.

Exactly... I thought that the first nut was allowed to stand there , close to the main speaker, way too long. Poor security IMHO. And ...yeah the only thing the news is concentrating on are the protesters & their juvenile antics.

I hunted pheasants for years, but with dogs. But we use to just kick around for them as kids, before we really got into it. You can be productive just kicking for them, but an extra guy or two wouldn't hurt, to watch the sides of hedgerows or spread out through a field. BE CAREFUL & know where everyone is. Game loads of #7 1/2 or # 6 through a mod. choke will work well. My all time favorite combo was #6 through an Improved Cylinder choke.

xmas eve mass then to my sisters for dinner and festivities including the xmas shot of Wild Turkey. Xmas day its my house. In the morning its gifts with the kids then a nice breakfast. Later its pretty much everyone. Gifts, food, maybe some more Wild turkey, food then theres food followed by food and of course food. MERY XMAS

I don't own one but my brother in-law and his father both hunt with them. They are both what I would call "accuracy anal" and they both swear by them. they talk to me like Im a cave man for hunting with my pump. I think they shoot Lightfields through them. I have also heard that they are hard to come by.

I can tell you that a lot of police cars will drain the battery out if the computers, radio and other equipment is left on with the car off. Maybe the tech guys do stink, but thats the case. Also, at this time of year they want to keep the windshields clear while they are not in the car. But Im sure that their #1 reason is to keep their free donuts and coffee warm, inside the car. (Fake laugh)

Exactly this company is just looking to capitalize on this sad event. I remember after 911 a company came out with a personal parachute that, according to them, could be used to parachute to safety from a tall building in the event of a simaler incident. Shameless.
