    I tried one of those lights (Gerber) a couple of years ago on a buck my buddy shot. It made the blood stand out just a little better than the regular light but I wasn't all that impressed. The light was given to me. If I had to spend my own money on one I would pass. I heard the spray stuff works well.

    I have done that once when it was the only option. Didn't want to gut it then drag it through because I wasn't sure how clean the water was.

    I don't agree with the "most people" part. Thats a bit of a stretch. Some? absolutely. Just as Some will vote for Obama just because he's Obama. My whole point is that Obama, or any president, should be held accountable for promises they made and didn't keep, rather then blaming the past administration, especially 4 years into a term. my two cents

    I assume he will run things differently than Obama. But what you are saying is that in all future elections we should keep looking back on the Bush administration,and assume all Republican candidates will run things the same.

    But how do you assume that Romney is going to run things the same way Bush did? Obama is running things way differently than Clinton did. Blame Bush has become an automatic response for a lot of people and I just don't think thats the answer every time Obama is critisized . He's not held accountable for anything.

    But you don't "talk about" it you use it as an excuse, every time someone criticizes Obama. Not always you specifically but liberals. Bush is gone, has been for 4 years.

    Yup ..A few years back a little dirt bag killed a swan ,with a shot gun, while it was swimming in the local swan pond. This pond is right in the middle of town and is surrounded by buildings. In a news interview,on live TV, the punks father says something to the effect , big deal I can't believe everyone is making such a big deal over a f@#king duck. The turd doesn't fall far from the a-- hole.

    Yeah I was flipping through the channels today and a hunting show came on and they were talking about baiting. The guy/host? said that baiting is only legal in 14 states. Switched it off after that, those shows tend to tick me off.

    I picked up some stuff at a sports show called "World Optical" anti fog. I bought it for my scopes but the guy selling it put some on a pair of glasses, held them over steam and they stayed clear. Works awesome on the scopes. Think its about $10 www.world-opticalproducts.com

    Yeah quality is way better on the 700. I think Remington wanted to come out with a lower priced gun to compete with Savage,Mossberg and Marlin. They all offer scoped combo packages for under $400. But they dropped the ball with the 770. The ones I checked out had a real gritty stiff actions and they just seemed cheap. My old 700 is smooth as silk. Have fun at the range. I bet it shoots great

    Good deal...Im sure you will be happy with the 700. Sometimes saving a few bucks just ends up being a big pain in the a$$. Good luck with that new Remmy
