Stinks!!! I've ordered a lot of stuff from Sports mans guide and never had a problem. I'm sure they'll make good on it ....if not go to the hardware store and get the right bolts, but make sure they're hardend......(cant cost more than a couple bucks) but try them first.... 0 )

It is AWSOME!!!!! Deer hunters I know,that don't hunt Toms look at me like I'm nuts when I talk about hunting turkeys...If anyone tries it once, and gets a bird to answere.... they will be hooked.

Dont know about your area but a spot I hunt, in the Onondaga Hill area ,has them and they attract deer like no other plot I've seen. And from what I've been told, they are real good for the deer...If you can get them to grow go for it....its worth a shot

Got a call about an hour ago ... my old pal "Herbby" passed away.. he was 83. My dad did'nt hunt but his friend Herb did so he talked him into take'n me out. Herbby was an old North country hunter and a damn good one . The best i've ever seen. He tought me alot. I'll miss him Sorry to sound like a girl.. just had to say something

I agree a double lung, with any round will result in a dead deer. But a double lung does not always mean the deer wont run a good distance before it gives up the ghost. Im sure im not the only one out there who has spent time looking for a deer that I knew was dead but lost the blood trail. Bigger bullet=more thump, more of a blood trail to follow. IMHO

start with the Remington (green box, 150gr. core-lokt) They're cheap, accurate and well made. If for some reason they don't fly good (which I doubt) try Winchester power points, and move up the price range from there. Don't start right off with the $40+ stuff. The standard stuff works very well. I think a lot of people get caught up in thinking that because ammo costs twice as much it must be twice as good...Not true -

I agree 100%. A 243 will kill deer but it is still a small bullet. The farmer I hunt with uses a 223, which is a round I would never consider. If low recoil is what you want, there are better rounds out there than 243. BUT if it's all you have ,it will work.... IMHO

Tried that crap once and I was off the wall for half the day. I'm sure that's just me.. A cup of coffee or tea is good enough.

I've had a few run pretty far but was able to watch where they went from the stand. None of them left any blood and if I didn't see where they ran it would of been a tough track. It's just me

Never been a .380 basher! Especiallly with today's newer rounds. Seen in person what they can do. For a small, concealable gun it is a good choise. IMHO it beats a .38 snub...... in a bunch of ways
