Hope you guys are right. Im no expert, but it seems that every year about this time I see them in the fields where I hunt. This year pretty much nothing

i know im way late...but.. I have an 07 Polaris 700 efi and just got my son a new Kawasaki prairie 360 after he dumped his sportsman 300 seven feet off of a snowmobile bridge into a creek. Could'nt get mad at him he was'nt hurt.

I had a roast set out and thawing in the fridge so I could try one of your recipes this weekend. Unfortunatly when I got home Saturday afternoon the wife had it half cooked in the crock pot with veggies and spuds.I'll have to wait and try it again. Thanks they both sound great.

my wife had a Cherokee, I think it was a 95. It was a great vehicle. I drove it more than my truck. I also went to a Titan in 08 and the thing is awsome. Zero problems. Good luck

Hate to keep saying it but the 7mm-08 all the way. a 243 will kill any deer out there but the 08 is about the same in recoil but kills them way faster and is way more forgiving. I took a few with the 243 and was not impressed, as far as quick kills. I used Rem. 100 gr. cor-lockt. If you go with the 243, put a good broad side hit on him, then watch where he runs for as long as you can. More likely than not it wont leave alot of blood. Good luck.

Im starting to worry too. Im not seeing any birds out in the feilds like I normally do every year about this time.. I was seeing them a few weeks ago but nothing for a while.

What deerthug said. we all got it pretty good when u think about it..Me and a bunch od guys at work played. We spent $165 bucks and won $28. Oh well Its almost turkey season!! and My oldest daughter got her drivers permit, last week , and drove my truck for the first time saturday!! WOW!!! -

SWEET! I got a few while deer hunting but never tried to call one in ...... . Im sure I would go home frustrated and empty handed. ...Good job.

I have tried it several times over the years, but not a whole lot of luck. Once I got one to answere an owl hoot.... another time a Duck call.... It's all I had but it worked. All the other times nothing...although it turned out that there were Toms in the area, they did'nt respond. Like hunting anything else....who knows?

Funny pic. I tried one of those energy drinks once (not 5 hour) I was to jittery and wired to do anything exept drive my wife nuts. Ever since then I've been too gun shy to try one again

Gotta keep the lawn cut. Normally I cut the front while the kid cuts the back. It dosent take long. Maybe 1/2 hour. I have clay here too. Try some lime. it helpped my lawn alot, but you might see any results till next year. Whats wrong wth Bud Lite??

Do not use a pistol for deer..... i know I just pissed people off but use enough gun... Even the biggest pistol rounds suck....Sorry.

Agree...... The one my buddy shot with the .38 was a fluke. The thing left zero blood until the last 25 yrds. then it started spraying out its nose, but not alot. These smaller pistol cals. like 9mm are a bad choice for big game. Another friend use to use a .357 mag marlin rifle and even that was'nt all that great on deer. IMHO all pistol cals stink.
