It's funny... people either like her or hate her guts with a passion! Im not sure if I would vote for her but I like some of the things she says. Cut 4 or five steaks or back straps into small cubes (less than an inch.) Soak them in water, a teaspoon of season salt and about one tablespoon of vinegar for about 15 mins. (no longer) Just enough to cover the meat.. Then drain and pat dry. Dice up potatos and par boil them.Dice about 4 strips of bacon and fry them, with one small sweet onion, until almost done . Add the meat and potatos and cook till tender. Serve with eggs and toast.. You're ready for the day.

Hey Bubba...I had to put my lab down in 09 he was 14. Hardest thing I ever had to do..I hear ya. The wife came home with another one last year and I think about that final all the time.... It's hard

Good find! One time I was out front cutting my grass and some punk threw his McD's bag out the window as he drove by. RIGHT INFRONT OF ME! FREAK'N PUNK. I yelled but he kept going. Any way I picked up the bag and I heard change rattling around in the bag. I opened it up and there was $11 and change in the bottom of the bag. I guess he just threw the change from his order into the bag and forgot about it. Freak'n punk..

Bubba- All I mean is that the 7mm-08 puts them down way faster and leaves a good blood trail. The 243 left almost no blood every time, small hole in small hole out. I hit a couple deer at only slight angles and I did not like the results. They both ran 70-80 yrds and left no blood. From my stand I could see were they went down and was able to walk right to them.(one was still alive) I f I had to track them I'd still be out there. If recoil is the same, why not go with the bigger round?? IMHO

Yeah, it must be the mild winter. Just this morning a saw a bunch of turkeys in the front yard of a house, just down the road. One big tom was strutting like it was may. Good pics

I had the same problems. a 243 will work ( all the deer I shot with it died) but the 7mm-08 works way better

I live about a mile from the Gander Mtn in cicero and I dont even think about buying ammo there any more. Very poor selection and high prices. I drive the extra 5 miles or so to Dicks or order from Spoortsmans Guide. -
I dont own a milsurp but a buddy has been hunting with a 6.5mm sweed for years (sporterized real nice) and wont trade it for anything. 3 yrs ago he drilled a huge buck with it. It put him right down. It ran maybe 40 yards. I think its a mauser but not sure

I know Im way late 2 this post but last year I got a nice bird the second day and my buddy did the same the following week. We also called in 4 other toms ( jakes & 1 good one we screwed up on ) through the season and never heard one single gobble!!!! Crazy!!! All season '''No gobbles!!!

Three... 2 girls 15 and 11 and 1 boy 14. They drive me freak'n nuts but I love it. Have another one if you can. Watching them grow up together is something else.!

Forgive my ignorance but I'm clueless on electrical stuff... I have a multimeter but what do I set it at and how do I use it to test power at the winch itself. I have the meter set at DCV-20 I just use it to test batteries (12 volt car..ATV etc..) Thanks
