Spoken like a true bitter jealous little beeach…..Im glad me and others lived long enough to protect you and yours…..POP A MYDOL..I hear it helps.. mmmmmmmkay?

What do all of your cop and fireman relatives think of you placing them in the same category as "welfare parasites?" Or do you not have the balls to say that to their faces???? Some would ask if you were "Too pussy"….not my words of course. And do you ever , either on this sight or others, openly rail against generational welfare parasites who have never worked and have no intention of ever working??
-
enjoy your bitter, angry jealousy towards people who WORKED and risked their lives every day. …………What do you think of true welfare ….generational welfare??? Ya know ..people who go on the public dole as soon as they turn a certain age with out even trying to work... Why do you use the words pig and white man??……oh jealous bitter one, should I add racist to the list?

Bitter and JEALOUS..you should have taken the job back in the day…If you did, we wouldn't be in this pissing match. How do you feel about teachers collecting pensions? Put some ice on that hurt. Im done too….OPHGGYYUU …AHHH back leisure..think I'll go out and wax the Vett.

When I said that I was "lucky" I meant that I was lucky that I made it 27 years with out getting killed or too seriously hurt. As far as you feeling "guilty" for collecting a pension (if you had chose to) how do you know how you would feel unless you actually did the job, (on the street not as a desk ornament) for 20+ years?? Fact is you don't. You sound bitter and jealous..but thats ok. Im use to hearing it. I have to cut my leisure time short now. I have yet another Doctors appointment for one of a few different injuries I got ,while working my ex cake walk job. The Dr. is only a few minutes away so I should be able to get right back to my life of leisure in an hour or so. Your welcome.

Yes I am… Im sure you have had cars that you kept running until they just died. But how reliable were they? Police cars get beat on..plain and simple. And all of the ex PD Crown vics I see converted to taxi cabs look like $hit. A Deputy Sheriff lives down the street. He takes his car home. It has 135K on it and its a rusted pile of crap. I guess it runs ok but the floors are rusted, the fenders are rusted and half the accessories in it don't work. No A/C right now, passenger window won't go down, it smokes a little …Police cars just get abused and become unreliable way sooner than privately owned cars. Thats just a fact.

Right..You were offered it but turned it down because it wasn't right for you at the time…You CHOSE to go another route...Tons of people turn the job down every year, intact PD'd have a hard time finding enough people to do the "Dream job"so you're not alone. If you had taken the job would you be singing the same tune right now ????? I'll bet my entire pension that you wouldn't be. And the broken down roofer in his 50's could have tried to get into the PD/FD and been a broken down cop or firefighter in his 50's but at least have a pension. BTW I was DAMN LUCKY too.

The reason cops and firemen can retire early is because the job takes a toll on you both mentally and physically. Not that you care. By the time a cop or fireman is 45-50 ( again provided that they didn't work in Mayberry or Hooterville since they were in their early 20's) they are pretty scuffed up, to say the least. They are also not that desirable hires if they want to start a new career to sustain them until they are 65. But the retirement system is changing and will make the jealous whiners happy. Most new hires can't collect their full pensions until age 62. But Im sure the thought of a 60 year old grey haired cop with a slight limp, walking up to your house, because you reported someone kicking in your door, will make you feel pretty safe. You can retire at 65 because thats the path YOU chose. Stop being a jealous hater.

Damn cops with their new cars every 3-5 years!!!! Makes me so mad!!! What about Firetrucks??? Those Firetrucks last 15-20 years…..Its the same thing….And now that you mention it, what about Duty ammo???? why are we spending money to replace Duty ammo every year?? I have shot pistol ammo that was over 30 years old and it still fired….So what the hell??? And guns!!! I have a .38 revolver that is 50 years old and fires just fine. In fact a lot of old U.S. service pistols/revolvers that are replaced by more reliable newer handguns, are purchased by third world countries to be used by their local police. They have no problem with these older weapons . Why don't U.S. police agencies just buy all used stuff?? Think of how much money that would save. Why replace all this stuff so often?? LOL!!! just me being me….but seriously

Trust me …by the time a cop car (other than the ones used by the Mayberry P.D.) hit 100k they are pretty beat. Would you rather have the cop responding to help you or yours be on the way in a car with 500k or 50k??
-
Spent 5+K on an engine to go into a 3-4 year old car that has by that time, because of excessive use, developed other issues?? mmmmaybe
-
WOW!!!! YA GOT ME!!! LOL!

125k on a Police car is entirely different than 125k on a civilian car. In addition to the actual miles, Police cars are almost constantly running. An officer running radar is sitting in a running car…an officer writing a report is sitting in a running car..an officer who is out side of his/her car investigating an incident where the flashing lights are on leaves the car running. An officer who is outside his/her car investigating an incident, in the winter time ,will leave the car running to keep the windows from frosting up. At the end of a shift the officer turns the keys over to another officer, and the cycle continues. Idling hours take a toll on cars. after 100K things start to break.

When I was a youngster I told my mom that I was going to the pool to check out the "Fun bags". She told me not to eat any unwrapped candy out of those "fun bags" that the life guards were giving out..

You'll get more hits if you jig that bait just a little faster.LOL!!

12ga. is the way to go IMHO. you can adjust loads and chokes to fit the bill. I have hunted them with .22, .410, 20ga and 12 ga… a friend I use to hunt with even used a 28 ga now and then..…They all worked but for an all around/ all condition gun…12 ga……... Lower it and fill in the dirt.

I have been fishing a lot out of the pool, dead and alive…4 or 5 a week
