  1. I use one for hunting. It usually stays in the barn unless I use it to haul stands and equipment in or hopefully deer out. I think they are great but I hunt private land. I could certainly see hunters getting pissed at clowns rolling through on property they don't belong on. I was checking out one of my spots, a day or two before turkey opener, and saw were some rats came onto the posted property with 4 wheel drive trucks and just tore the hell out of spots. It happens once in a while in this one spot. Like anything else, a few thoughtless a$$ wipes have to ruin things
  2. Yeah…thats why I like fuel injection. Its just like starting a car. I use to hate standing there and playing with the choke on cold mornings. I just got rid of a Kawasaki that was cold blooded as hell. You couldn't take your hands off the thing for at least 5 minutes or it would die.
  3. Power, a winch and fuel injection are the top 3 for me.
  4. Congrats!! One of those S.O.B's breaks my decoy and Im shooting him too!
  5. It was in the mid 30's. unheated garage. When I turn the switch it kicks, dies for half a second then turns over. Its been in the high 60's lately and it starts just fine. I know Im going to have problems in the fall/winter. I have been reading on line that a lot of owners just replace the battery with a better quality brand,,,problem solved. I hate to do it on a brand new machine, but the dealership and Polaris don't want to know anything. I'll just spent 100 bucks or so and be done with it. Check out the location of the battery, if your looking. It sits down on the frame, behind the front diff. and its a bitch to get to. I didn't notice it until after I had the machine a day or two. Other than the battery issues and a non existent front rack, the ATV is great so far. It rides and handles awesome and has tons of power.
  6. So I bit the bullet a few weeks back and bought one to replace my sons Kawi. 360. So far its a great machine but it starts hard when its cold out. Kind of like the battery is weak. I did some research and found out that this is a problem with this model. Took it back to the dealer, less than 2 weeks and 20 miles after the purchase. They found nothing wrong. Battery and system tested fine for them. (of course) The service manager even told me that the batteries they put in these things are "not the greatest". Then he gets all pissy because I wouldn't pay the $29.00 labor fee for them to test the battery and check the thing out!! L-O F'ing L!!…. What b@lls. After I made it clear that I wasn't paying anything, (and I wasn't a jerk about it) He tried laying a guilt trip on me saying how he is losing money..?? What a D!ck!!.I wouldn't have had the nerve to even try to charge a repeat customer that fee………. Maybe its me…. Times have changed.
  7. Sad….You don't see many people posting when cops are murdered or assaulted by career criminal scum. But if one runs a red light or is seen speeding or talking on the cell phone while "not on a call"?????? HOLY $h!T!!! Let em have it!! Sad…Sad…Sad.. RIP OFC. Moore>
  8. Just wait….LOL!!!…….How true is that going to be?!
  9. New one on me. I have seen tons of turkey scratchings and never seen any holes. Could be turkeys scratching over existing sites where bugs or critters have been working.

    Flocks?

One time I called in 5 toms. They were racing each other to get to me. Shot one of them. That was the first week of the season. I have seen flocks in the early days of the season, but as time goes on they will seem to thin a bit. Friday I had 2 toms answer me at first light. Then they flew down with 6 or 8 other birds (all hens I think). Needless to say they weren't interested in my calls and moved off out of range. Saturday I called in 2 jakes and spotted a bunch more on the edge of a field, that I couldn't seal the deal with. So far its been a good season even though I haven't dropped the hammer yet.
  11. Great pics!!! Have you named them yet???
  12. I know some good quality stuff comes out of Turkey. But when I think Winchester I think old American firearms quality .I remember , as a kid, hearing all the old timers praise their Winchesters and I think of the old hardware store tin signs of guys in knickers heading out, to the field, with their Winchesters. No doubt it was good stuff. Im too nostalgic.
  13. It has gotten to the point where some black leaders have publicly stated, with a straight face, that African Americans "cannot be racists". LOL!! Problem is that enough morons believe that garbage and the race baiting, self serving low life worms, who spew it... know it. Did I say LOL??……. Low iife little worms…….
  14. Don't get too caught up in the fields unless you think the birds are roosting right on the edges. Tuck into the open hardwoods close to the fields. If there are hardwood ridges near the fields,,,,,better yet.
  15. Very cool !! Congrats to all!
  16. Watch for the phrase "Institutional Racism" Come hell or high water this will be about race. Hell… the good "Reverend" (LOL!!) Al Sharpton already parked his clown car in the Mayors parking spot.
  17. On two separate occasions, while sitting on the ground turkey hunting, I have had a skunk suddenly appear and scratch around on the ground, inches away from my feet. I have never sat so still in my life.
  18. RIGHT!!! The skill that it takes to wrap and serve your Mc Burger is still a skill. People who say that folks should be payed according to their skill level are morons.. Im sure that if you owned a burger joint, you would pay people 20-30 bucks an hour to perform such a specialized task. And no way you would go out of business for paying such a "Fair" rate.
  19. Sounds like a good morning……I had birds out in front of me but just too far out. Still fun...
  20. Got it….So you're not sure about that other stuff then?…..Right?
  21. WOW!!! Imagine if that poor SOB killed someone or himself? I was a big Winchester fan, but I got a bad feeling when I found out that some of their guns were being made in Turkey. I won't own a new one.
  22. You sure about all off that?? Don't get me wrong, I don't know what happened at this point, but right now,are you sure thats what happened?? Wasn't there another prisoner in the van?? What did he say about getting a rough ride? If the ride was rough enough to break this kids neck, then was the other prisoner at least slightly injured? Is he claiming to be a victim too? I just don't know….
  23. Good bird!,,,,,Im on the opposite end. For the first 20 minute or so I thought one of my newer spots was finally going to pay off but hens screwed me up.
