Ok, I hit the river again for 8 hrs Saturday and finished up at dark with 27 smallies. Nothing special this time, most averaged between 10 and 12 inch. With all the rain we had Fri the river was a bit murkey so they were mostly all caught on flouresent green twister.

I use to love to camp. 4 yrs Army Airborne cured that real quick. There's just something about sleeping on bare ground while its pouring on you that leaves a bad taste in your mouth for roughing it later on. : )

No, just bass, walleye, white perch and drum. is all ive ever got out of there. Most of the Pike ive ever caught were out of the St Lawerance.

Does anyone know of any silent cams? I have a stealth and have stood next to it while my daughter is walking around in front of it day and night and I have not been able to hear any discernible noise even with my ear right against it. But I get a ton of pics with deer walking in and staring right at it no matter how far off the trail or camoflauged it is. I guess if someone put one in my living room I would notice it right off to. But I have a ton of pics of deer with there head down feeding right in front of it then the next 4 or 5 are them staring at the cam or coming closer to investigate, so it has to be making somekind of noise I cannot hear.

Hunting is #1 most and foremost Population control. You have a moral obligation to kill deer and predators. I have witnessed first hand what happens to deer when they get overpopulated and there is a rough winter. Its not pretty and IMO Animal cruelty. Predator overpopulation can lead to game number crashes, leaving the predators starving and seeking food where humans live. And lets not forget diseases like rabies. # 2 Hunting is the purest form of Conservation there is. Hunters have done more to improve habitat and animal #'s than any Wako environmental group has ever done. Just look at the train wreck in the ADK park. Yeah its pretty, but I think most of the guys who hunt up there would agree with me that 90% of it its usless for wildlife due to the imbecilic forever wild debacle.

I have a 12 volt rechargable bat. I just bring it back and charge it for S + G. Its always full power on the cam but as long as I have it out I throw it on the charger for a few hrs. Its been a good battery Its 12 yrs old.

I broke my river record for smallmouth today with a 21 in fish. Slammed a 5inch silver rapula just before dark. Unfortunatelly since I was wading around the river I have no photo evidence since I left my phone in the car which is a real bummer, he was a fine fish. Caught and released about 9 other smallish fish and lost numerous others to thier high flying acrobatics. Things were alot slower today but a real nice night on the river.

Its genetic just like albino deer. Other yote color phases I found on the net.

Moved trail cam and let sit for 3 weeks. Got 4 pics of a small deers butt. Very frustrating.

I had one i named sox a about 10 yrs ago. Both of his front legs were pure white.

I think im coming around to this one buck a yr thing and shorter gun season expanded muzzleloader , crossbow, and bow seasons. IMO its sounding like a better choice since the greatest % of deer are killed on the first day of gun and that first week. But im sure someone would have some beef with that also. The DEC would never go for it either, it would get in the way of thier plan to obliterate NY's deer herd!!
