Compound bow for as long as I can. I would consider the crossbow when and IF the time comes. I have lost bowhunting partners due to problems with their shoulders. My boy G has had four surgeries and suffers greatly. My ortho says I should start thinking about it for my right shoulder. Who knows what the future holds????

Yeaaaahhh, 4 miles from my house. There are deer in Caumsett State Park in Huntington, guess its was just a matter of time that they would spread out. I know the sharp shooters had thinned out the heard years ago, but recently the town folk have given the state a hard time about killing the deer.

John, that is a nice stand. Mind telling me specifically where its located. GPS coordinates will be ok. Seriously, I use a Summit Titan and and old Ameri-step folding ladder stand.
