I bought this vest on clearance about 6 years ago at wally world. Made by fieldline. Got it for 5 bucks! Even with all my stuff i have listed i have tons of space left. Only space i really wanna fill is the game bag part of it

Basically hand tools. Maybe a tractor and a brushhawg. General consensus seems to be turnips clover radish maybe even some corn. Just want to make a decent habitat for feeding turkeys and deer. Its got alot of thick areas for bedding and it does hold deer.

Woods and power line strips. Part of it used to be a junkyard many moons ago. Tons of deer and turkeys.

Nice. The fiance is after me to plant some plots so she can see some deer this fall. She got her hunter safety course under her belt and will deer hunt this fall for the first time. I was thinking of throw and grow for certain areas. Told her its not an overnite success and doesnt guarantee she sees deer. But it will help and possibly next season it will by then be more beneficial.

Funny thing is ...ive had this box call for a few years and rarely ever use it. Its real raspy and high pitched. Loud too! Quaker boy the box....

Got about 50 acres and im looking to plant some plots to help deer and turkeys. What should i plant? Going for something that doesnt require alot of attention as i dont get to this land everyday. Was thinking clover was an all around good deal. Also interested in getting some throw and grow type for random areas on the land. Your thoughts?

Yeah i live in newark so clyde isnt too far. Thought about possibly going there if my first spots dont pan out. Someone said you need to go down river road? Never heard of it but guess it may be worth a shot.

Was at a certain store yesterday....wont say any names. Heard a guy asking a clerk where the 2 3/4 turkey loads were. Clerk responded that the ammuntion manufacturers were slowly doing away with ALL 2 3/4 shells as they were no longer effective. Wow. He then when on to state to the customer that 2 3/4 was not ethical for turkeys unless they were at ten yards or closer. Clerk said you should buy some 3 1/2 shells because they are more popular and much more ethical. Guy said my gun only shoots 2 3/4 so thats what i want. Replied the clerk than you need to buy a new gun because soon 2 3/4 shells will no longer he available anywhere! Customer smiled and told the man that he had killed more turkeys with 2 3/4 than the clerk had probably ever seen. I laughed and proceeded to buy my 2 3/4 federal mag shoks from the same clerk. Guess my rant is where do these outdoors stores find employees? I understand about upselling but blatantly lying to an obvious seasoned hunter? I asked the clerk...so howlong before i can no longer buy 2 3/4 shells....his response was by 2014....wow. rant over just am really understanding why some folks wont go to big box stores. Yes some people that work at these places know their stuff...but one apple can ruin the whole bunch.

You mean you dont have to spend an arm and a leg on shells to get one? Thought that was common practice lol

I had a guy mount one to the same tree as mine....talk about awkward when i was in mine well before sun up and he climbed into his about 20 minutes later lol

Can always get a rossi or h&r single shot for under $200. Thats a route i was thinking of going and may still go that route.
