  1. Hey Red, I got an old Moultrie D-55 IR you can have if you want it. It's got video, 1- 3 shot burst per trigger, and a minimum one minute delay. Runs on 6-C-cells. Should give you a good idea of what to expect from a sucky cam,lol I don't use it any more.
  2. Darn it..... still no mountain lion? Put it out for 45 next time so you don't contaminate the area too much. Is it just me, or does that turkey look like it's got a hen head?
  3. Some times that's all it takes! Too bad you couldn't put in more hours today....... shed hunting of course! Another nice set man!
  4. That's a big part of my problem this year. Most of my spots have been snowed in since November and just now opening up. I've got too many hobbies that I enjoy this time of year, and it's hard to fit them all in my free time now with this abbreviated spring. Most of my hikes have been on home turf so far, and I wont have time to hit some of the other areas unless I'm there for another reason. This wet, sloppy weather really has them popping, so we'll see if I can re-kindle the burning fire inside, lol! Anyhow... I do have a few cam pics of the last set of antlers owner, so I'll toss one of those in here too..
  5. 4-7-14 Another quicky hike this afternoon turned up #10! It's also the mate to #7 making it my 3'rd set! It wasn't laying only a few feet away from the mate, but it was still not melted out for me to see it then. I don't know if I'm just getting started, or if I'm too far disgusted to put much more effort into this season right now........ check back later with me on that. Adding another dead doe today. Antlers- 10 Sets- 3 Dead bucks- 4 Dead doe/fawns- 12
  6. Sweeeeet photos alloutdoors! I've been trying to find some cooperative birds like that, but no luck as of yet!
  7. Hey now.... you're gettin' pretty good at this! Nice couple of 3pts there, and a good water rescue! Should we plan on seeing double digits from you this year?
  8. The cameras have been working overtime at the fox den. I've got 1000's of pics from this cam, and 100's of video to go through yet from my Moultrie I have set up from another angle here. It was tough to narrow it down to my 10 favs!
  9. They've been on and off here. I'm hearing a few sporadic gobbles durring my warm, sunny, mid day hikes, but cold mornings have been silent. I'll be trying to get a few photos soon as they get a little more patternable.
  10. KFO??? Kentucky Fried Ostrich? Sounds good to me....dish it out! Only half a helping for you I'm sorry to say.
  11. You really haven't done a very good job at convincing anyone here on anything from your stubborn stance, to my size, to the vicious way I "attacked your beastly azz",lol. Apparently my mini stature(I can't deny that) has touched a nerve with you, and in some way, shape, or form, I've posed a viable threat to your masculinity. Sorry I may have hit a little too close to home for you. Not bad though for a little 'pip squeak' like me to get under your Twinkie eatin' skin, eh? You're coming across as the same selfish "bowhunter" that was recently discussed in another post. Thanks for proving that original poster to be right on top of things as far as bowhunter personalities and stereotypes go. I for one, as I'm sure many others, are embarassed to even have you associated with us by the way you conduct yourself. It's no wonder guys have such a hard time securing hunting rights with bull headed fellas like you amongst our ranks!
  12. Great to see you get your little guy out there and scoop up some bones! That's a great find, and a good time, congrats!
  13. I've made my point and I'll move on.
  14. Unlike you, I don't like "links",lol
  15. I was wrong....... you called us all "d-bags". If that's how you really feel, who's the real "tool" now"?
  16. Page 4, post #75.. Hold on, I know of another you came right out and called 90% of us "donkeys".. I'll dig it up for you if you'd like? Your a joke to many of us....yeah, we've had the same conversation about you through PM's cupcake,! Again LMAO! http://huntingny.com/forums/topic/22184-its-official/page-4
  17. You already claimed that 80% of us were donkeys, so who the frig do you think is gonna take you seriously anymore now that he's left,LMAO!
  18. Are you personally introducing newbies to the sport "stick flipper"? Take all the shots you wish at me, but the guys that actually make a difference can see right through you, and I believe once again, you are missing the target when you took a pop at me. I wasn't even replying to you in my first post on this topic, so you really need to quit taking things so damn personally.... unless of course your conscious wont allow you to do that. Get over you freakin' self already. Guys like you are no good for anything more than the dramatic entertainment they bring around here. I know you'll have no problem finding a following with that approach, but hell.... even your own brother left you hanging, lol
  19. OK then....go play with all the "real archers" in the bowhunting forum since you've already admitted to "not having a dog in this fight" I'm a bowhunter too, and you're embarrassing many here by association. And this "tool" as you call me, has contributed more to hunting, the outdoors, and this site in general than you could ever hope to. Now quit following me around and go check on your bro.
  20. Are you planning on introducing new hunters to the x-bow season? Doubt it......so your opinion is based on your own selfishness. Don't underestimate what others will do with this opportunity.
  21. Maybe this will keep the Safe Act discussions in the gun forum now that the x-bow area is alive and kickin'! Sweet vids FieldArcher! Great job recruiting new hunters, and involving the youth you have connections with as well! The guys that say it wont promote new hunters to the field are full of beans, and most likely don't get involved with introducing newbies to the outdoors lifestyle the way you do!
  22. Nice to see the season is finally shaping up around here! Congrats to wifey on her first couple of antler finds, and good job gathering up the rest, along with that SWEET hanger!
  23. Thanks! My chew free finds are coming out of the woods edges, orchards, and thickets. Really not a good squirrel habitat. Hemlocks, pines, and mature nut tree ridges here were loaded with squirrel this winter, and I think they got to most of the antlers in these areas already.
  24. Thanks for the comments everyone! If you guys like running trailcams for critters other than deer, this is a good time to set one up at an active fox den. I'm finally getting some nice action as the little ones are starting to emerge!
