She's #10 in this huntress power ranking standings, amongst some other pretty big celebrity names. http://whackstarhunters.com/10-hottest-huntresses-2017/

I believe that's Hans Boxlers grand daughter from Hidden Valley Animal Adventures. Hans was the owner that got killed by that exotic antelope last summer.

Oh man..., I haven't gotten blown that hard in 25 years! What a mess! Then a storm rolled in with high winds and knocked out the power for 5 days. Thankfully have a generator to keep my e-ciggs charged or I would have never made it this long! Good to see a few survivors left here. Anyone else still missing?

Nice- thanks for digging that up! Gonna hang it in the shed for another 50 years or so.

I found this in an old pile of field stones that got plowed into the timber some time ago. Metal sign with raised letters and in pretty good condition except for some flaking paint. I don't think it's THAT old, but I think it may be from before my time.(maybe 30-40+ yrs?) Anyone have an idea on age? I thought it was a cool piece so I rescued it.

That looks like the same kit that a lot of chronic masturbating pyromaniacs carry! Good find that will cum in handy, lol

I just put the skull there as a prop, and to have some fresh red meat showing to anything that flies overhead. Hopefully something will pick it clean so I don't have to screw around with bringing it back and cookin' it! Not gonna worry about that one too much if it grows legs and runs off with a predator. Actually kinda hoping to catch that on one of the vids.

Interesting. Turkeys circling dead cat in road
wooly replied to turkeyfeathers's topic in General Chit Chat
The filthy feline fleabag was probably covered in maggots! The turkey would have had a feast if the little pussy didn't wreak of it's own urine, lol The only good cat's a flat cat! -
And one more from a WGI cam at another location. The fox have been scent marking this stump lately, so I just got a cam up over it. I dug a dirt hole at the base of the stump and baited with some small hunks of rotten deer flesh and dog treats, and then covered everything back up. This guy wasn't a fan of the bright red flash, but that didn't stop him from hanging out in the spotlight for quite a while. No sound with this camera, so I added some youtube jams, lol

Finally got some close up fox action last night. I'm just getting started trying to stitch these 10 second night video clips together so bare with me until I get the hang of this video stuff. Almost brave enough to feast at this cam set now...., but still needs to take a few more steps!

I'm not really daydreaming about turkey season just yet, but I did have it in mind when I picked up a couple Browning Strike Forces not long ago. Looking forward to setting them up at the decoys to get some close up action footage with sound of a gobbler getting smacked! Also added a Dark Ops to the cam arsenal this morning, so I may need to add another deke to the line-up now!

I'll tell ya growie... I get just as excited finding stuff like this as I do finding antlers! I suppose it's not for everybody, but I have a tendancy of turning the simplest things into an all out adventure, lol I'll be sure to leave a few behind!

Lol- I was wondering why the smell wasn't as pleasant as everyone was describing! These babies were in the garden before sunset last night, so I'm not gonna pull them to clean at this point. I'll be more carefull and bring a potting shovel when I return to dig a few more up. I sent these pics to my sis and she wants a clump or two as well. I'll bet the onion smell was from me squashing that CG on the ground trying to wrestle this clump out with my bare hands.

I felt like I discovered a new species or something when I found them, lol Seemed strange to see something so purdy growing in this dull and dirty looking time of year.
-
I think you're right grow! Those look really similar. I've probably never noticed them before since we're usually buried in snow up to our ears this time of year. No matter how much time I spend hiking around here, there's always something to see that I've never seen before. Thanks for the help with the ID on these!
-
Some wildflowers I came across this evening and was hoping to get an ID for. I'm not used to seeing wildflowers here on March 1'st, so these have me stumped. They smell like onions but don't match up to any wild onion google search pics I can find. They were growing in clusters on a forested hillside, and they are on bulbs. Anyone know what these early bloomers are? Hopefully they're not some rare endangered species, because I dug up a clump for my wildflower garden mix.

Turn up your volume for some hawk chatter! You can adjust the video quality with that little gear button at the bottom of the frame. I'm not sure if there's a way to lock that in at 720p or not.

Guessing he was probably shot and unrecovered by where I found him. He was in some pretty thick stuff surrounded by treestands, a good ways from any road.
-
Yep, it's a sport. Every year I try to "let the air outta one" just like Brady did with his balls, lol

It's a ducky day for a shed hunt. It don't get much better than an early spring like rainy day for that! The bone will be GLOWING out there in this stuff!
-
Nice- the video tells so much more about what's going on over the pics alone. I just took the youtube plunge myself looking to run a little more video soon and have a place to keep my trail cam footage organized. I have the Browning set up in this location now and need to flip it over from pics to vids today. I have another clip that revealed there is a pair of redtails hitting this carcass here and not just one as I suspected. Hopefully I'll have some better clips from the better cam soon.

Excellent shots AO! I see a lot of folks have made the trip with their cameras to check this guy out. Was there a crowd when you went? Doc- I believe the flat face is a design that aides them with hearing, not speed. or flight. The ears sit just on the front side of that facial ring and behind that are a coarser feather that funnels sound to the ears. Just something I read somewhere before. Don't want anyone to think I'm an "owl-ologist" or anything like that, lol
-
If there were no trail cameras, I'd just sit in the tree and take the damn pics myself!

I knew the freshness was bound to run out soon. Struck by the curse of the oldie green goblin today, but still a pretty nice horn for #5! Then I found a string of un-used carcass tags. On my way out I found my 3'rd dead buck of the year.
