Live from the kitchen table. Just had a piece or back strap and heart sautéed with onions, tomatoes, some hot pepper, and potatoes....all courtesy of live from the stand this morning.

Got a doe this morning at 7:45. First with my new bow. Very happy. I'm trying to post pic but it says your forum has disabled image sharing from this app. Anyway. Just got home, about to butcher and then eat!!

In stand. Beach weather. Already saw a deer. Good luck everyone

Used the arm guard and made sure my elbow was out every time. No problems at all now. I am going to practice some with the heavy jacket
-
garden state bow and reel.... I will get it checked out, only thing is i dont know if I want to change it so close to season....Would I have to re sight everything. Ive never changed draw length on a bow so I dont know how that would effect my shooting+

I have an arm guard that I am going to try today, not that exact one but well see.
-
covert and waterweasle...what you both said actually makes perfect sense. and my wife was just looking at me like i have six heads as I was attempting to it while gripping my remote control lol
-
Measured with the loop. I'm going to try tomorrow with the arm guard and see if holding my hand a little different. I shoot open with open hand but never tried holding fully with the palm
-
It feels good. I don't think its long, I was measured with the bow when I bought it this summer. I did hit my arm once or twice but not often.
-
Have to get a guard for now I guess. I don't know if I should adjust how I'm holding the bow this close to season.

My bow is all set. Shooting great. I just went to practice some shots with my hunting jackets on and, with my heavier one the string hits the jacket. It sounds like a gun going off and my shots are low, right, left, high,.. I put on my lighter jacket and it was still hitting the jacket, just missing low an inch or 2. I put rubber bands on the sleeve and it was still hitting the sleeve a bit but not affecting the shot at all. There's gotta be a better way...and I think I'll freeze if I wear the lighter jacket in November.. What do I do. Other than the obvious of buying another jacket which I don't want to do...

shot a doe 3 years ago right before dark. waited until morning to go get her and a bunch of her was eaten. There was meat left but there was no way I was having a coyotes leftovers...

So if I have muzzleloader or bow tag (either sex) i can purchase a seperate bow hunting only license?
-
Then its lifetime sportsman not super. I definitely have a bow/muzzleloader tag though.
-
I have a lifetime supersportsman license. Every year I get a buck/doe tag that is for Muzzleloader/bow season. I know someone that gets that and also gets a doe tag for bow. Is this normal? Am I doing something wrong.
-
question, if some douche is trespassing and falls off one of your stands...can they sue you??
-
I saw a bear close to that size near Hancock last year...I wouldn't shoot that with my bow unless I had 4 days to let it die before tracking lol we don't eat bear so I would probably never shoot it anyway. good luck if you try n take him
-
Do you donate venison...I feel like I've seen you shoot 1000 does... Very nice video and shot by the way
-
Agree as long as doe tags are available
-
anybody use 20 gauge 2 3/4 cartridges when they turkey hunt. If so, what do you use. I cant find turkey loads anywhere. Ive used hevi shot before but I feel like the other major brands have to have something out there..
-
I have to switch soon.. i shoot federal nosler ballistic tip 30-06... I only have about 10 rounds left. $50 a box. way too much
-
if you can think of an invention to help this I will gladly invest lol
