  1. I couldn’t find it. But your bed is quite comfortable. Thanks
  2. Of course you can't justify it - you just want it. Thats enough. lol I have the xp50 wo the rangefinder. Its a nice unit.
  3. Those look solid Kevin. That said, my OCD would require me to go back and re-season your grill for uniformity of blackness! lol
  4. This will be season 11 for me and the first 8 years I averaged 5 harvests each season (a few times 3 and a few times 7 deer) and I always wanted all 4 DMPs. Year 9 was when my late wife was sick. Limited my hunting and only took my 2 bucks - one in archery and one in regular seasons. Last year I was so busy that I only hunted 4 times and didn't harvest anything although came close on a bruiser twice in archery - only 1 gun hunt. I have no desire to kill that many deer anymore. The two buck tags and one doe will be plenty. I may apply for the first two DMPs just in case a guest needs one, but have no plans on using them myself. I guess that blood thirst and desire for tons of venison is gone. lol I still hope to start getting back out more regularly though.
  5. My experience is that they taste a lot like chicken. I fried them up like wings but they were tough. If I was to eat squirrel again, I would slow cook it in a stew.
  6. You have some $$$ invested there. I like the black outline palette.
  7. Done. Her service is much appreciated.
  8. I think the rest of the pets in the neighborhood got the message loud and clear!
  9. I can neither confirm nor deny my representation of Bermuda John or anyone else in connection with HNY SWAG, according my to my marketing group. I can say that I now have a pair of wonderful darn tough socks and am in need of peanut brittle. HINT HINT!
  10. I am still trying to figure out if I am cleaning correctly, over oiling, under oiling - maybe I am making it more complicated than need be. I have now "seasoned" it about 17 times. lol And I am happy to host a heart attack get together once the weather cools a bit. I still can't figure out eggs on it. They always come out looking dirty.
  11. Funny story on rates. I had a matter that after many years of litigation finally appeared to be heading to US Supreme Court - I was sure it would get there. My client loved me and wanted me to stay working on it, but also wanted a US Supreme Court specialist after we got past the Second Circuit Court of Appeals. Enter Paul Clement - he is the man if you are arguing before SCOTUS. You all might know him from the recent 2nd amendment case that he won - https://www.cnn.com/2022/06/23/politics/supreme-court-guns-second-amendment-new-york-bruen/index.html Anyways, as I am talking to Paul about co-counseling the case with me, he says his rate is $2000/hr. Even I was a bit shocked at that. I was thinking $1000 maybe $1300. We agreed to a flat fee through the petition for cert. Good guy by the way and he left Kirkland Ellis due to the fallout from his win on the 2nd amendment case. But yes, rates continue to rise. And all us hourly lawyers are simply hourly workers - so we can't work 2 hour days. Then again, we are worth every penny! lol
  12. I like to believe I am reasonably intelligent but can’t figure out where the workforce went. I get that the gov handed out money to some but don’t people have bills to pay? I could sit home and do nothing but earn a living by the hour so I couldn’t do it for long. Lol
  13. Nice rig! I like the carbon barrels. I have a proof on mine and its so nice to carry and holds accuracy really well!
  14. I had a winch too. Can am is just pricey. Have fun!
  15. Good price installed. I paid close to 1100 for the plow and quick release mount. Then a good 6-7hrs installing it. Enjoy.
  16. Mom seems pretty content even knowing I am here
  17. Nice to see em around. No hunting here but fun to watch.
  18. Ok another question, the grill has a metal cover over the griddle. Do I really need to use a soft cover too during the grilling months? If I don’t will the griddle rust etc. I never cover my gas grill.
  19. Pretty good first effort. My daughter misunderstood my request and cut all steaks to 1/2 thickness (not hat I wanted) but still good. I can see me using it a lot.
  20. Ok for all the experts, when cooking do u use the same fat as a pan, oil, butter etc?
  21. Ok all you INFLUENCERS, I think she is seasoned and ready for her maiden voyage.
