  1. Well ol fool is much better. Accepted!
  2. Let it roll off your back. You have a great event to enjoy. Wishing you a very happy marriage.
  3. This thread confirms I chose the wrong job. I want to do whatever rob, chrisw and buckmaster do for a living!
  4. In fairness, one bear hunt and a dozen turkey hunts may not be a sufficient effort.
  5. And people claim whitetail are tough to hunt. They seem easy by comparison to everything else I have hunted. lol
  6. And I drove 7 hours to see nothing. lol
  7. Upon a re-read, you're right. That didn't sound so good. lol
  8. Caught my biggest fur-bearing trout on that exact sonar. Jerk it a bit.
  9. Sorry for derailing. Would love to own it. Great rifle and a great price.
  10. Lets go in halves. When you shoot a deer with it, I keep the second dead one behind your deer.
  11. That’s some great results. All the sane outfitter?
  12. I don't typically measure either but those 1" squares on that target face make it easy to estimate. and correct as needed assuming the scope tracks true.
  13. Moho I shot a 1" last group with my 6.8 with just a bag on the truck tailgate. This was with a lead sled but the same in terms of shooting off the truck gate. Neither were ideal as I was leaning over to shoot without a chair at the right height. If I really want to dial it in, a proper bench and lead sled is the way to go for sighting in - IMO. Then I have no excuse when shooting lousy without it and know the gun's real capability.
  14. The 458 has one but I was assured I would want it for reduced recoil. Then again, maybe I was just sold a $90 upgrade.
  15. Yep. I was just telling Bob that it was really a rough sighting in as I was leaning on the tailgate of the truck with no seat after putting the blind up. But I wanted to get it close enough to hunt with if needed. When I have time, I will actually use a proper bench at a range.
  16. I need to grab a brass catcher, but seriously, you can have whatever I shoot. It tends to spray them throughout by truck bed now. lol I do have some used brass for you though.
  17. I assume you only shoot on the wing. I am safe for the wild rice if I walk in.
