  1. Thx Rob. Next trip that 458 is coming along.
  2. Thanks Jdubs. I generally agree but tend to expect more. Lol
  3. Used the same ammo that my Sako likes. 308 Winchester powermax bonded 180g. The barrel is a fluted medium heavy 16”. I might be able to tighten it up with different ammo but I have lots of the powermax in stock. Lol
  4. Here she is as well as a view of the carpeted bed sissy truck/shooting bench.
  5. Shoot be decent for bow and great for gun. Will be fun bringing Natalie along more often or roughing it in lousy weather. Tough job solo but got her done and it will be worth it. Only sits about 20 yds from edge of late season food plot but also is tucked in woods where we have big oaks loaded with acorns this year.
  6. So after finishing the second redneck blind today, I sighted in my new AR10. Besides wasting a bunch of rounds due to a loose mount, it seemed to zero in reasonably well. Started high and then overcorrected low and gradually moved it up but my last 5 shots are those in the black circle including one of the 2 with the dash next to it. Not 100% sure which one. In any event, would you be satisfied with that last group? It’s not clover leaf nor close to my best group but I guess decent for a 16” barrel semi auto. Definitely minute of Deer. Honest opinions? Photos are sideways. Black circle was top of bullseye. And shots at 110yds. I could add a click or two left but breeze was blowing that direction so I left it as is. same as the AR15, it seemed to shoot better the more rounds I put through it. Maybe the oils from manufacturing need to burn out. Not sure.
  7. I am with you. Heard my first bird all year this morning at 11am while building a blind for deer season. Those birds just love to mock me.
  8. Real property tax dept for whatever jurisdiction the property you are looking at is located.
  9. I am not sure you a lower percentage of school taxes without a structure, its just assessed for less so you pay less. I could be wrong as I don't pay much attention since my taxes are so low on that vacant land.
  10. I pay school taxes on my vacant land. I would assume any permanent structure could be considered in reassessing the value of the land for tax purposes.
  11. When are you pushing? Pygmy and I have been waiting.
  12. Heading out tomorrow for one last crack at a gobbler. Wish me luck. Should have the woods to myself. Woo hoo.
  13. Sounds good. I use the spyerdco sharpmaker and it will keep a sharp blade scary sharp but not for reprofiling.
  14. Now we know why houses in your neighborhood never sell!
  15. Just picked one of these up after using a target secured to a box on a stick last weekend. Too much readjusting. Came today. Nice and sturdy for under $20 and will allow for 2 targets to be mounted. Plus it breaks down to be very portable. Worth it I think if you need a portable target stand. https://ads.midwayusa.com/product/528905/caldwell-ultimate-target-stand-polymer-green?utm_medium=shopping&utm_source=connexity&utm_campaign=Shooting+-+Targets&utm_content=528905&cm_mmc=pf_ci_connexity-_-Shooting+-+Targets-_-Caldwell-_-528905
  16. Not sure the 3m will hold well to foam. Test it out.
  17. They were bad when we left Quebec. Still have bites all over my arms and hands. Not pleasant.
  18. Holy smokes, we released 400lbs of good fish. By the way, it should be 6-8 inch not foot range. Even I know a 6 foot blue gill is big!
  19. We did 60 plus blue gill in Mendon Ponds on Sunday in about 2 hours plus a couple of bullhead and a few bass. It was actually boring catching one on almost every cast. As primarily a cold water fisherman, what is a decent sized blue gill? Caught quite a few in that 6-8' range on Sunday. Seemed bigger than I remember. If they were 10lbs, they would be a great fight. Spunky.
  20. Both sets of shoes are awesome, but you need the safety orange soles on your crocs, a la moog! She looks quite content.
