About the pro football player Steve Gleason. It's on amazon now. Heart breaking and inspirational at the same time.

If I was using my truck like you do, I would agree. I use it for hunting. Have an office job and live in the suburbs. No lime, pigs, calves, mulch or hay. I do throw the occasional chainsaw in there, along with ladder stands and a deer once in a blue moon. No problems there.

In the end, you can't claim to have a sissy truck WITHOUT A BED RUG. I am the self proclaimed expert on this subject after all.
-
Nothing really. Don't like the plastic liners and didn't want another spray on. Don't knock em. They are pretty nice unless you use the truck for hauling dirt, stone, etc.
-
It had a plastic bedliner when I bought it. Replaced it with the bed rug - it's not a work truck. Then added the decked storage system, which is awesome for storing hunting gear. I usually just use a tarp but got lazy this year with a couple deer. All good now. Thanks for all the support guys. Lol

Great quality too. My 30-30 is a tack driver with wood that rivals guns that cost 3x as much.

Wow great deal for an awesome sight! If I was still a compound junkie, it would be sold. Tough sights for sure!

Hey Happy BDay TF. No grimacing today!

Just spent an hour cleaning my bed rug of all blood. Looks great now but it ain't easy maintaining a sissy truck. I envy you macho truck drivers.

Binoculars vs monocular. For hunting.
moog5050 replied to zeus1gdsm's topic in Hunting Gear Reviews and Gear Discussions
If the monocular is 5x then my understanding is that 25mm will allow the maximum light useable by your eye. For 25mm, if its more than 5x, then you will lose some time at last light. Of course, quality of lens plays a role too in terms of use at last light. Essentially divide the objective MM by the power, if its 5 or greater, you have all the light your eye can use. If its less than 5, your eye can use more light than will be transmitted by the mono or bino thereby limiting visibility at last light. -
I usually steal my wife's acetone (nail polish remover). lol

Obviously only used for early season hunts. -
Thanks all. The post was to compliment Jason's work. It's very good.

Does underwear count? I do wear them hunting. -
Small plot / maximum tonnage?
moog5050 replied to stubborn1VT's topic in Land Management, Food Plots and QDM
We did a plot that size with ladino clover. Great plot for summer and early season and lasted despite being heavily used. -
Don't tell anyone fletch but I found him dead. Much easier to arrow that way. So the mount reflects my memory of first seeing him. Lol. No idea why phone photos show up sideways.
-
He returned the mount of my archery buck today and boy did he do the Monarch justice. Quick turn around too. The quality of his work is top notch and it's even better in person. Photos don't really do the mount justice. The only bad thing is that it makes the rest of the bucks I have on the wall look small. Seriously the size of the head and chest look like a horse in comparison. Not obvious in photo but when you see it side by side with my other mounts it's comical. Lol. Again thanks Jason and I highly recommend your services. The details are impeccable. For those on the fence like I was, don't hesitate to try a wall pedestal. It really is a complimentary mount

Because otherwise I would be way too productive from Oct - Dec.

Several months ago, you could pick up the older model (non-HD) Zeiss Conquest 3x9x40 for under $300. It is a great scope for the money.

Happy BDay buddy!
