In all seriousness, here is a buck that I killed in 2016. First pic is him from 2014 where we assumed he was at least 4.5 and started targeting him. But the teeth don’t look real worn. I never took the time to send a tooth in. Always assumed at least 6.5 but like I said, teeth didn’t seem that worn. Makes me think tooth wear is a very general guess on deer. I assume sending it in is really the only way to know. Photos don’t hurt either. Sane buck as he has a nub of a drop tine on his right antler in same spot for all those years.

My buck had wooden dentures. Any guesses?

Zeek, I only have 180 in 308. Sorry. Not real particular on the 22-250 but was hopping for 50 or so. Really just want to rough sight it in.

Thought it would be fun to try one of the rifles I won last year. Have no ammo for it. If anyone has a couple of boxes of 22-250 they want to trade, let me know. I have a pretty good variety to exchange. Thanks.

Man I remember that tradition. My grandmother would bake 10-15 different types of cookies starting at Thanksgiving and give everyone these huge homemade cookie trays at Christmas. Us kids would off course sneak out into the 3 season room where they were stored to help ourselves through the process. Butterhorns were my favorite. somehow that tradition was lost on my sisters who are more of the order out types. Lol Enjoy!

I think you may have a misunderstanding of what you are allowed to do with a buck based on the doctrine of "prima nochte". But you do have rights if you choose to exercise them!

I have seen deer check out gut piles. Not sure if its an attractant or curiosity based on the scent of the pile. Doesn't seem to bother them.
