All I need to do is step out the back door.

It is about 5 miles from me. There have been some bow hunters there, but the real hunting pressure will start this weekend. It is a big area with swamps, ponds, brush, and hardwood ridges. Plenty of deer if you are willing to get off the beaten path.

If people were not lazy..did there homework..most of the problem could be solved in the fall/winter..not the spring/summere when the are caring and hunting for the young.

I guess I was brought up the old fashion way. A coyote to me is a furbearer. This time of year there fur is worthless so why would I kill one/

There was an incident a few weeks back just north of here. Dogs were seen by several people BITING..CHASING TORMENTING DEER...AND THE DEC.. DID NOTHING ABOUT IT!! I own several hunting dogs. I will NOT tolerate a deer runner. period! I have told land owners if they see one of my hounds chasing a deer on there land...shoot it

They usually make big circles. The more pressure put on them, then they will head to another block. February is the tough month. The males will bee-line forever.

These 3 were pretty mangey. They will go as far as the yote will go.

Coyotes are skittish of everything. That is why we have so many. Now..that said, they are also brave. They get used to roads, vehicles, farm equipment, people.
