if im hunting the day i sit all day, if i hunt the morn ill sit about an hour before sunrise till whenever i can. i dont mind long hauls

that thing is huge it looks photo shopped tho, take a look at the left side of the rack which is on the right side photo. the drop tine and parts of the rack havea black line around it and the base seems like it has a funky angle? looks shopped just my opinion

right on... the people you choose to hunt with have to understand the decisions they make in the field do not just affect them it affects the ones they hunt with and near. Including those who they dont know. accident do happen and they happen all to often, so to practice safety and proper gun handling is very important. above and beyond safety, its important your hunting partner is on the same page as you at all times, especially with ethics. (not to bring it up) but i have seen many hunting partners broken up because of it...

yeah maybe your right John... the past few hunts have produced some smaller buck action. Seems the bigger ones might have moved off and already bred the does in that immediate area of my stand? who knows but you have to be out to kill one. ill try and get out tomorrow

im not sure howmany more times i will be headed out this season... have alot to finish up at the house and what not. All and all i had a great season inspite of not harvesting anything. It started out very slow for the first 3 weeks but by the 3rd weekend i started having great encounters. Ive seen more bucks this year then any other in-spite of the odd weather. I had encounters with some very nice 130 class deer close and out of range, passed my nice 12 point twice due to no shot within 20 yards let a nice 120" buck walk twice and some nice 100" bucks as well. Missed my low 130 class 8 point opening day of gun season, twice lol. but i had a very productive season. ive killed deer every year for years but this year looks like i wont punch my tag and i am fine with it. I wish everyone good luck in the rest of the season and who know, maybe ill be out soon and get er done.

i have to lighten the trigger on my .270 WB... im not going to do it ill get it done from a local guy.

never had to... i would much rather a second shot then to resort to that
