    Big old gal at 15 yards, buck trailing her . He didn’t look like one I wanted to take this year , then I saw him facing away , nice and wide . There’s far bigger around we shall see .

    Classic Fudd , 2A has nothing to do, with hunting . Gun owners outnumber hunters by 20 fold , if hunters don’t want to support 2A then we’ll crush hunting . The AR is the number one rifle in the US , you really want us on your side , but whatever , I certainly can get behind banning the “ sniper rifles “ that hunters use . oh and someday added restrictions, lol where have you been ?

    Me too , for me high winds = not enjoyable . Although yesterday my front yard was covered in leaves , no grass visible , now it’s almost all grass ! By looking at the weather forecast , I’ll be out all week starting , perhaps tomorrow morning , but for sure the afternoon .

    In my woods they often bed right in the open hardwoods, and I’ve got many acres of thick stuff nearby .

    Where ? Finger Lakes is of course a large area ,and I’m confined to the Canandaigua area ,and the rural part mostly , but I see mostly Trump signs and hats . either way we’ve started protecting and moving assets to avoid tax rate increases if Biden wins ,we’ll see what the state does ,it may be the final straw and I’ll leave .

    I got close to $800 for my Dads Marlin 25-20 lever action , it was from the late 1800s though . Three number serial number that started with 1 . Idk if you consider $800 a lot of money

    Not me, I’m primarily a fair weather hunter especially in bow , so Sunday and Monday are not for, me . The next nine days however look like I’ll be out each day if needed .

    Ok that’s it for me , heading to the Other Half to grab some beer .. last night I had to dodge deer and shoo them out of daughters driveway in order to pull in . It would be nice to see some up close in the woods ....

    Three doe just slowly crossed cut beans into thicket , followed by what looked to be a 2 1/2 y/o buck .

    Up on stand at 7:15,couple minutes later blowing and soft running in the back of the woods . No deer seen yet , one raccoon three turkey .
