Valentines dinner with the guys at work ..... It was pricey tonight ten bucks a man .

Just finished painting the down stairs , off to dentist , then to,work at 4:00. Mrs Nomad is on a beach in Fla., I’m may even text her Greg’s meme form above .

Yep, I hooked up antennas in my kids apartments , neither of them have cable and never would . It’s nice to watch what you want when you want and fast forward through the commercials though . I was half joking, I need History, Discovery, and a few others,the wife watches Hallmark and some other weird stuff .

Well the thing about B.O.B. Is they can come in handy for non teotwawki events . Like say your house catches fire, or you go on vacation ( with bag) and a hurricane or other disaster strikes while you’re there. I have a Day pack,that goes to,work with me and any trip,more then 50 miles away or so. I don’t call it a BOB , just has handy items, if I end up in a jam. First Aid, and tool kits, change of clothes ,charging cables and external battery ,cash,( and I also keep five one hundred dollar bills on me )scanned documents on a card,spare mag, and a host of other items . if the house catches fire, the nuke plant down the road sounds their sirens , a rail car or tanker over turns and creates a haz mat, I m out the door , and that bag has enough to,get me through a short period with some comfort ,that’s all .

As long as I can get,Shark Tank, Antiques Roadshow and Big Bang Theroy I’ll be good .

That’s always a worry of mine, I just don’t practice at distance because I’ve never had to shoot that far in the woods . Although one day that may prove to have been a poor choice of practicing .

I’d say 4 inch groups is acceptable , although I’d be happier with tighter ones. Most of my practice is 20 and under perhaps 1/3 of my shooting is out to,30, a couple maybe at 40 .The farthest I’ve shot a deer was 25 , but most are in the 15 yard range . If I punch both lungs , then that’s acceptable . 30 years, bow hunting only owned two,bows , never changed anything on them . I do,try to,end a practice on a good group, I just feel better that way .

See I was going to say you need to shop at better stores .... True story tonight at the Genesee Brew House after work with the brothers , the bouncer comes up and asked who’s dropping twenty’s ? I, look at the floor and $200 in twenty’s is under my stool, that’s why I seldom put cash in the pocket where my phone is, pull out phone drop cash .

I wonder how that even happens today, with the demand for craft beer being so high . We we’re at a restaurant, nothing high end just average , they had a giant wine list and maybe five, “ blue light” type beers , I’d been happy if had they even had Sam Adams .

Larry, I did not, I ,may have entertained the thought , but didn’t go through with it. I sold that gun to a collector , who’s permit was as thick as a deck of cards ! That DW was the only DW missing from his collection . I still have a six inch .22, best trigger on any gun I’ve had.

DW .44 was the gun for long distance metallic silhouette competition, it held the most wins and titles by far. I believe your gun ( same one I had ) was just under 4 pounds as that was the cut off for competition use . At the time, Dan Wesson M44 was the lightest recoiling .44 magnum ever produced.[2][7] Light recoil was a side benefit in IHMSA silhouette competitions. I had an eight inch heavy barrel SS Dan Wesson .44 mag. Was just under four pounds in weight , that really helped dampen recoil . That gun was darn pleasant to shoot.

Many years I ago I sued the Rochester Police dept, and the city of Rochester , who,knew the city would one Day be my employer ? Anyhow, one thing I didn’t care for was the Lawyer, keeping me “one step behind “in the settlement offers . See that way when you get near the amount you,think you can get, he can say “you can take it, but I think I can get a little more out of them .” See he already knows what the next offer is. If you say, go for it, he comes back with the offer he already has, if you say take it, he comes back with more, and says, “ I just had a feeling I could get more.”and nobody’s going to complain about more money and you think he’s a great attorney. I personally like Lawyers, I have friends and family in that profession, and they’ve helped me many times , like when the computer store at The.University of Buffalo threaten to have me arrested, I handled that myself , but had my brother in law in the loop, who advised me on what to do.

Mrs . Nomad will be in Fla with her girlfriends ( or so she claims ), I’ll be working nights so, I’ll be eating much better then eggs that night .

The Mrs is retired , I’d hop into work on one leg if need be . Anyways the thing to do is see Dr. Summeroff , not Dr. Winteroff , and now I’m getting back on a ladder to,paint, so I’m not supposed to stand on paint tray ?
