If they happen to be found they get another ticket, which they don’t show up for either, they just remain on the street committing more crimes . Just listen to the Capt of major Crimes . Every city I cop I know which is more then a few ,feel the same way , they’re demoralized, hesitant to to be pro active . We’ve demoralized the cops and emboldened the shit birds ,the result is carnage . Bail reform , legal pot , they used to get a lot of illegal guns of traffic stops where they smelled pot , not anymore . RPD is way short staffed and nobody wants the job anymore . There’s 50 out on suspension, most have been cleared of all charges ,but the mayor won’t let them come back . No cop will risk their pension as they no there’s no backing from the city , so this is what we get . Currently it’s a drug gang war , using infantry tactics, that sometimes takes out innocent bystanders ,like the two at the East End . I always was comfortable on any street at any time ,on or off duty, today I just won’t go in the city anywhere ,Park Ave, nowhere and I’ve upped my carry .

It’s been hard year being a Cards fan , I get that they’re out a few starting pitchers, but maybe score a few runs to help out ? Yikes , then guys are out for things like a bruised pinky ? Guys I work with returned to duty with things like a broken back , now when it was correctly diagnosed, they then went off , but come on .

30 minutes east of Rochester, I just bought some stuff . 5 gallon food grade “ water container “ $15 at the store , $3 ! He has all sizes of barrels , good for docks, rafts, water storeage whatever . If I had the room I’d go LP,myself ,just to remove myself from depending on “ the grid .” As far as power outages , well the longest I faced was 11 days, followed by 3 , the 11 was in March . Our daughter who’s lived in her house in Irondequoit now for 15 months or so has had at least 6 outages , all relatively minor so far . The last few years before I retired , it seemed like we had major wind storms every year, that did major damage and put thousands in the dark for days . Its only going to get worse . If everything moves away from direct fired technologies, to electric as some say, we’ll need to double our power plants,distribution and transmission, systems . It takes years upon years to build a power plant ,along with the fact we can’t even properly maintain the systems we have now , Greenhunter is smart imho . As they say “ If you’re one step ahead you’re a genius, two steps a crackpot , and three a lunatic . “ I have a Honda Generator, gas fireplace, water run back up sump ( made right here , awesome pumps and a great customer service , I forget the name right now ...) But if I had the room and knew for a fact we’d stay here I’d strongly consider it . The issue with gasoline generators are one you need gas , two can your wife start it , and three you have to chain it up , oh and you have to be home ....

I think that’s a good move ! Especially with the power grid demands and all the outages of late . Roch had 500 in one area out from Monday to Wed or Thursday AM I forget . Seems odd that one clustered area takes that long to get back online . Today I see another 500 plus out . This will only get worse in the upcoming years, you’re smart to get one now . When we go to FLA this winter ,I’ll shut off and drain the water , and have a neighbor and daughter go inside and make sure heat , freezer and so on is up and running a couple times a week at least . I’ve been to many houses after folks returned from vacation to a flooded basement and damaged upper floors . My backyard is not deep and with the pool and patio, I’m wondering if I could fit one , something to,look into I guess . Why did you go LP ?

LAPD, removed 5,000 pounds of illegal fireworks from a home ,along with “ Ten pounds of ,improvised explosives.” They detonated that on scene in their containment vessel , which could easily and safely explode 15 pounds .... Damaged homes and flipped cars in a two block radius ! Not my field ,but I’d guess it wasn’t 10 pounds of what they thought it was .
