I have a friend over 30 years Leo , most as a tactical officer ,or mayor crime investigator . He won’t go to the Penfield wal mart as it’s full of people he’s locked up .

My good friend from here went to school there, and never left ! I would go out for two weeks each year . I had an ASU T shirt , “ truth , knowledge and a great tan .” At 1PM we would go to his buddy’s apartment pool , as that was when the girls came out to tan .

No fights over the last wing ?

It’s threads like this where I realize,I know little about deer hunting . I don’t watch videos ,read books , scout etc , most times I don’t know what guys are taking about lol .

Where I worked in Roch .the ones having kids are kids . We’d go, for a woman in labor call, find a 21 y/o living with her Mom ,having her 3rd or 4th child . Sit in front of the firehouse at 2,3 in the Morning on a Fri, Sat and watch young Moms out with their friends pushing their strollers . There’s not all that many drumming much of anything productive into many young heads. Talk to some city teachers , if they get two parents on an open house , parents night that’s a success.

Around 1/3 of students in the city of Rochester never graduate , frankly I was surprised it was only 1/3 .

I had three jobs my adult life , a mechanical contractor, manufacturer and the FD . The MC had a job for me every summer, as well as after I finished my meager college career, then I got the manufacturing job , after a couple years the economy tanked and I got laid off . The MC gave me a job right away , when the economy picked back up the owner of the plant called and I went back to work there . When I needed a job these two companies had one for me , if they needed me I’d be back without hesitation. I have a big problem with these folks today turning down work to collect unemployment .

Most cabins are booked months in advance and require you to book for a week . There’s some parks right now I can’t get a RV site as far out as Oct.

My all time favorite is Fairhaven ,it’s right on Lake Ontario, an hour east of Roch ., it has a great beach, break wall and pier that goes far out into the lake . There’s a large pond you can canoe and fish in . It’s very hard right now to get reservations in most parks though . Good luck . We’re off right now with our RV to camp on my buddy’s land in Naples ,he called said ground is muddy,I’ll have to back in and stay on drive . He’s never seen me back that thing up !

As was mentioned his hopper was full . He should be checking his mirrors and go dump,it come back and sweep up what’s left on the road . PS, there have been times I messed up at work too .

On a side note the Supervisor from this town stopped by our house last week, to talk about an upcoming , chip/seal being done to the road . I brought up an upcoming project along the Bay ..... My wife came to the door , he said , “ well if we don’t spend the money we’ll lose it .” I knew what was coming now . Mrs Nomad gave him both barrels . “ They did the same BS at the VA, spent tax money on BS that was of no benefit to the vets ,so they could get more the next year .” That’s just an irresponsible waste of tax money ! He slowly backed away.... Then went nextdoor where their German Shepard wanted to tear his head off lol . Pick a door one has a violent dog , the other , Mrs Nomad . He better hope our taxes don’t go up .....

They do that here in Roch. As well , when needed . Loaders into dump trucks, then dumped into the river from a bridge .

The real news here is their “ frictionless “ trigger . Science has always believed , that on Earth nothing can move without some friction between the surfaces . Those guys should get right to work on a perpetual motion machine !

Not my area of expertise, but on the farm I hunt it’s corn , next year beans next year corn ..... Hay fields are always hay fields . He may have changed the rotation based on current corn prices .

What’s her field , my nephew in Nashville is part owner of a company that does online payments of hospital Bills , college tuitions , tax payments and so forth . He also buys and sells companies all over the US . Currently owns 30 or so .

My sisters home is on a small private rd at least a million dollar home . They were talking to a neighbor about selling, the 30 year old neighbor said he wants it for his brother and would give them cash for their asking price . They’re making their FLA house the permanent resident and buying a small one up,here for the summers . Jeremy is right , our one nephew who moved his family to Texas is up,here for a bit , he said their three closest friends here are all moving down when they retire . Most of our friends and family have left , and I feel the next ten years will be a mass exodus,it’s all anyone we know talks about .

It’s heavily discounted , for having me as a neighbor . It’ll sell over asking like they all do . But it’s only 2000 square . Our friends house listed for 265, sold for just over 300 same area same SF . you want me to grab it for you ? There’s lots of deer around

Sorry to derail ... helping our young kids fish on pier at Fair Haven state park, us dads have no,poles ,just putting on worms and taking off sun fish from our daughters pink Zebcos . DEC cops ask for our lic. My buddy doesn’t have one and gets written up .WTF

Hoarder ! Panic buyer !!

A certain beer guy / Turkey hunter from around Buffalo, told me to steer clear of Southern Tier .... Lunch at the Brewhouse today, no,pics ! But I got three growlers , two orange honey cream ale, and one Azacca ipa . Had to dodge a couple atvs on Lake Ave, drive past the secondary police perimeter on a holed up gunman on the way there and get passed by a few dirt bikes on St Paul on the return trip .
