I did look at the full tanks in our cars, along with the full cans in our sheds / outbuildings and figured we’d be good for at least a month if need be . Shortages due to supply chain issues, ransomsware ( ever increasing ) panic buying, natural or man made events have little to no affect on my family . My sister did have some issues driving back from their FLA home ,so they stayed at their condo in South Carolina for a couple days till stations along the route got resupplied . Teaching moment for them ,never let your tank go below 1/2 and carry a few hundred bucks , if need be ,pay some hick $50 for 5 gallons he’s got on hand for his atv .

What a shame for the Mrs .

My wife keeps them making as fast as they can .... For a light beer id put it up against any light beer out there .

John , you’ve got to,stop ! I’m on a week long “ cleanse “ ! Dropping a LB a day , so no alcohol... after Sat I’ll still maintain a somewhat strict diet ,but I may squeeze a couple of those beers in . The sacrifices I do for my young lady neighbors !

It’s Sea Glass ! Heres some I got along Lake Erie last week , not much but the beach was small and others were looking . One lady who was ,told me there we’re others here earlier , I took a few steps and picked up a nice piece lol . Only two good pieces in this picture, and I got more the next day as well .

Mrs. nomad asked me to get three flashlights , for “ the triplets “ as she will be visiting them soon and their family in camps . So I picked these up for $14 each . What a deal ! I’ve had a number of headlamps at a higher price point that’s for sure, but I’m not sure if any were better . Separate switches for , the white light and the side leds in green and red . The main white light has some throw ! Along with low and high settings , three AAA and it comes with a set in it . Their parents will hate me once these kids run around camp blinding everyone , another win ! Often at this price one is never sure what they’ll get , I’d buy these for myself in a heartbeat

Perhaps that gun again ? I’m all set in hunting guns, I do like that little Ruger ,was it ranch rifle ? But I don’t want the 450 bushmaster caliber. The Browning lever action .22 is nice but I have 4 .22’s including a Henry lever action . Ya know I’d be tempted to take the Yeti’s, I have a large Orca cooler but would like a soft sided one . Ive already won , MRS. Nomad is going away for a few days ,including the night of the drawing !

The arrests are a thing good, what happens next has become the issue . Roch is bringing in county sheriffs to help,out and I believe some Feds and will charge them federally to avoid this states weak bs laws . Here’s but one example . Oh and last night 50 rounds fired at a gathering in a Walmart lot, 4 hit one dead one other circling the drain . Not enough investors to do the job well at all . Close to 200 shot this year here . The other night at the East End ( where the college kids go , and sometimes the wife and I for dinner ) two innocent bystanders shot . That area has a large police presence but the gangbangers don’t care at all .

Yes go Sox ! I’ve had a boat load of Sip of Sunshine ,Heady Topper etc , just not impressed really . I don’t get the hype at all .

If one just wants to see the tourist area yes . If one is a big country fan , seeing the Ryman , Grand ole Opry , country hall of fame ,tootsies plus a number of other bars that would take much more time . But don’t forget the Jack Daniels tour ! That’s the better part of a day right there . We enjoyed the Zoo there ,but we had a week plus and the kids were young . We did hit the Wildhorse saloon too , but then it was on some TV show so it was quite popular to say you went there . shine up your buckles boys ,we’re going to town !

Our friends are just loving the Knoxville area . They’re in Tellaco lake community , nice lake, hiking ,golf just an active area . Deer hunting is pretty good as well .

Father Day haul . The Gin is very good , daughter shot down to NC and Virginia for a bit . The 420 beer is not to bad .

So tell my boys what happened ? At least Rochester got rid of our pos . Her “ estranged “ husband ( no papers filled and they live in the same house ) got caught in a seven month drug investigation. She defunded but more damage was done demoralizing the police , to the point we have running gun fights of 20-30 rounds , and executions, where multiple gunmen run up and unload on a person . No command staff no investigators , nobody wants the jobs, it’s war zone here . For the NYC fellas you’d need about 8,000 shot right now to match us per capita . But the Dems primary here got a law and order one in at least . So tell me wtf happened in Buff ?!

My wife’s good friend got a group of 8 or so going to Ireland the around first week of November. Mrs Nomads reply to the invite was, sorry that’s the best week of bow hunting ! Im with Biz, summers on I’ll think of bow once I walk out in the morning and it seems very cool out .

I’m not a fan of guys using cell cameras to choose which stand based upon almost real time movement of a “ hit lister “ ( a term that makes me gag .) Thats me no food plots , no cell cameras . You guys have at it , just not my style .

Biz , Last time I was there, which was many years back, the whole “ downtown tourist stuff “ was all in an easy walk .

Well they make a awesome swings and , and the ever popular Tulip tire for each side of the driveway , but inside the trailer one can make matching tables and chairs out of them ! It’s the IKEA of the South !

Mrs Nomad brought up selling our one year old RV, we can currently get close to what we paid ! But her biggest point is as gas prices rise , few will wish to tow one at maybe half the MPG of a pick up, alone , certainly a valid point . Currently at $3 a gallon , traveling I could pay for a hotel room with the savings just taking our Subaru vs towing the RV with the truck . But right now that savings doesn’t outweigh our camping experience , $4 and certainly $5 and the RV sits and of course the valve of it plummets .
