I'm not quite sure I follow the question. Chrome, IE, Firefox, Pale Moon, etc are not operating systems, they're simply web browsers used to view internet content/pages.

Sorry - I didn't even check it. My bad for laziness... <blush>

I was thinking... (WARNING: my friends usually run screaming into the night when they hear me say that ) #10 gives me doubt about the whole dang thing. Now I've never owned a motor home but I've had my share of travel trailers and there is NO WAY that you're going to get a siphon hose into the black tank on one and I have to believe that a coach works the same way. The black tank fills from the toilet obviously so you're not going to go in that way or you really DO deserve a Darwin. The way they drain is by gravity. At the bottom of the frame, usually around the wheel area there's a 4" pipe that you connect to your sewer hose to drain into a holding tank at the dump station. There is a gate valve in the pipe that has to be opened to let the black tank drain via gravity. NFW you're getting a hose in through that direction either. I'm calling on this one which makes them all suspect to me.

The 2013 Darwin Awards are out! Yes, it's that magical time of year again when the Darwin Awards are bestowed, honoring the least evolved among us. Here is the glorious winner: 1. When his .38 caliber revolver failed to fire at his intended victim during a hold-up in Long Beach , California would-be robber James Elliot did something that can only inspire wonder. He peered down the barrel and tried the trigger again. This time it worked. And now, the honorable mentions: 2. The chef at a hotel in Switzerland lost a finger in a meat cutting machine and after a little shopping around, submitted a claim to his insurance company. The company suspecting negligence sent out one of its men to have a look for himself. He tried the machine and he also lost a finger.. The chef's claim was approved. 3. A man who shoveled snow for an hour to clear a space for his car during a blizzard in Chicago returned with his vehicle to find a woman had taken the space. Understandably, he shot her. 4. After stopping for drinks at an illegal bar, a Zimbabwean bus driver found that the 20 mental patients he was supposed to be transporting from Harare to Bulawayo had escaped. Not wanting to admit his incompetence, the driver went to a nearby bus stop and offered everyone waiting there a free ride. He then delivered the passengers to the mental hospital, telling the staff that the patients were very excitable and prone to bizarre fantasies. The deception wasn't discovered for 3 days. 5. An American teenager was in the hospital recovering from serious head wounds received from an oncoming train. When asked how he received the injuries, the lad told police that he was simply trying to see how close he could get his head to a moving train before he was hit. 6. A man walked into a Louisiana Circle-K, put a $20 bill on the counter, and asked for change. When the clerk opened the cash drawer, the man pulled a gun and asked for all the cash in the register, which the clerk promptly provided. The man took the cash from the clerk and fled, leaving the $20 bill on the counter. The total amount of cash he got from the drawer... $15. [if someone points a gun at you and gives you money, is a crime committed?] 7. Seems an Arkansas guy wanted some beer pretty badly. He decided that he'd just throw a cinder block through a liquor store window, grab some booze, and run. So he lifted the cinder block and heaved it over his head at the window. The cinder block bounced back and hit the would-be thief on the head, knocking him unconscious. The liquor store window was made of Plexiglas. The whole event was caught on videotape. 8. As a female shopper left a New York convenience store, a man grabbed her purse and ran. The clerk called security immediately, and the woman was able to give them a detailed description of the snatcher. Within minutes, the police apprehended the snatcher. They put him in the car and drove back to the store. The thief was then taken out of the car and told to stand there for a positive ID. To which he replied, "Yes, officer, that's her. That's the lady I stole the purse from." 9. The Ann Arbor News crime column reported that a man walked into a Burger King in Ypsilanti, Michigan at 5 A.M., flashed a gun, and demanded cash. The clerk turned him down because he said he couldn't open the cash register without a food order. When the man ordered onion rings, the clerk said they weren't available for breakfast... The frustrated gunman walked away. [*THE 5-STAR STUPIDITY AWARD WINNER]............ 10. When a man attempted to siphon gasoline from a motor home parked on a Seattle street by sucking on a hose, he got much more than he bargained for. Police arrived at the scene to find a very sick man curled up next to a motor home near spilled sewage. A police spokesman said that the man admitted to trying to steal gasoline, but he plugged his siphon hose into the motor home's sewage tank by mistake. The owner of the vehicle declined to press charges saying that it was the best laugh he'd ever had and the perp had been punished enough!!!!!!

Interesting article, thanks for the heads up. The map doesn't expand for me on my laptop but that may be because I'm not registered or something. No one believes me so I don't mention it much but when I was a kid (probably around 15) I saw one in Hermits Springs PA. Now I was practically raised in the woods and this day I was out squirrel hunting with my .22, looked up and on top of a cliff stood one looking down at me. This would have probably been in the mid-sixties. Thankfully its ears were still up so I just kept moving slowly away from it but talk about one scared kid. I've seen most every animal the NE has in the woods and it was no other kind of cat, period. People didn't walk around with cameras glued in their hands back then and I didn't save my underware as proof.

I believe this is the referenced article: http://ngm.nationalgeographic.com/2013/12/cougars/chadwick-text If you get a box asking you to login or join, hit the login button, that will bring up another popup box, then just hit the "X" in the upper right hand corner and you should be able to read it no problem.

The Shot Heard Throughout N.Y.

We're getting the h*77 out of NY in about 5 years, it can stay dormant until after we beat feet if you don't mind. It runs about a mile from our house. After we sell, it can sink. Absolutely zero reporting of it on TV around here. -
I'd actually be curious if it even really goes on safe or if it just looks like it.

I have a 99E carbine with the safety on the lever. I have to KNOW I wanna take it off safe. I agree with you - a trip to a smith is in order.

Personal Experience With Tennis Elbow?
bluecoupe replied to Cabin Fever's topic in General Chit Chat
I had it once. I got one of those "foam" kind of elbow supports. It was pretty snug and it helped. I even got to rubbing bengay on it before putting the support on. I wore the brace pretty much as long as I could take it, but everything needs a break once in a while. I think mine started getting better after about 6 or so months. I probably should of gone to the dr though -
Looks like a great place! What a weekend for it assuming the monsoons missed you.

My guess is that you won't. The last thing the MSM people want to do is to give the impression that there is any other viewpoint other than that guns should be eliminated. -

Absolutely nothing, and everything to gain. The ultra-liberals that run this state, and those who vote them in, couldn't care less about our 2nd amendment rights so they just go along with flushing them to get their socialistic policies rammed down our throats. That said, I don't think we need ultra-conservatives in power either, just people who have some freekin' common sense and actually CARE for a change, about doing what's right for the people they represent (theoretically). The only thing they represent is their wallets and getting re-elected. You'll have to forgive me, I've got a nasty cold and I'm not firing on all thrusters so coherency may not be top on the list. Maybe I should just "lurk" until this sob passes. -
ASSUMING that they don't dig up any proof that Christy knew anything about it, I think it will help him in the long run. Grow hit the nail square on the head with a freekin' 20 pound sledge though: ask yourself why the Feds IMMEDIATELY launched a major investigation into this but the IRS Scandal has been shoved into the bottom drawer hoping people will forget about it, which apparently most have.

Couldn't. Brought a cold back with me from vacation apparently and didn't feel like going to jail for touching one off in my back yard. The spirit was willing though. -

Governor Announces Support for Crossbows in NY
bluecoupe replied to Tinlodge's topic in CrossBow Hunting
A long time ago (I don't recall the year) NYC was going to try and secede from the state. Sadly, they woke up and didn't when they realized that the entire rest of the state was all for it and going out of their way to help them do it. -
