Honestly I can not tell.... Was that a serious question? Because oh ya many, many trucks and some cars, a camper or two with the confederate flag. Now I have to ask do you really not know what the root sentiment of the the civil war was really about? Has history been so black washed to make everyone think that the southern states went to war for the sole purpose of just keeping slaves? Do you not know who fought in the civil war? Now granted many were there because they were forced to be there.That was jut power mongering and corruption. See back then they were still living on the premise of the constitution before all the rewriting. They believed in their hearts that they had to fight for not just ownership but a way of life as they saw it.They had a completely different mind set then the northerners as the westerns did of the easterners. BTW there were a good many black that fought along side white and not because they were forced to. A good many slaves were freed during the course of the war by their owners. non slave owning southerns fought. bother against brother and fathers against sons. You know we lost Vietnam.. Do you think the Vietnamese living here should rise up and say, hey you came to our country destroyed a good part of it and our historical sites and lost. Lets We don't think you should be flying that American flag Over here around any of our communities within the country...ridiculous hey...well about as ridiculous as completely ignoring the history surrounding the confederate flag or the deep rooted history of the very few true southerners left. They are still Americans and they should have a right to their history. They haven't tried replacing it they are simply saying we did something in this countries history based on what people came here for We lost family and loved ones. ..Stop before you say it...... Slavery was in Europe way before the US .History had slavery in every culture and by the way women were just a ankle chain above any of the Africans brought over here. Way before and too long after...Some weren't treated much better either.

Man it was nice out there cool light breeze and dark as sin. Was set up against my tree by 4:30 heard birds and at 6 A scruffy fawn came through...kept hearing real low clucks close by...Ya close alright...plop...They dropped down behind me with a short cackle...So I clucked and low yelped and I could hear them coming in behind me. Purring and twirping...oh so soft clucks.. Then doesn't the first one come in around the back of my tree at 5 ft. She moved just to the front rt corner of my eye and stared at me..she had to have seen the blink..putt...kackle and she was in flight gliding over the ridge to my NW and down to our streams. I believe I heard her stir up birds down the hill as she dropped down. The other took flight right off my shoulder down hill to my NE....Well so much for that...lol I knew it would be a long wait for anything after that so packed up..just in time for the sprinkles to start,good timing..Will be back out after coffee.

Congrats nice Bird! Well the guy next door is back again so I will be out back setting up in t h e New blind . Over the scratched up area and between the usual ,hopefully presently occupied roost trees. So glad it's gotten cold again. Low 40's tonight. He was weed whacking allover today so hopefully he's pushed the turkey to our place,now if he can avoid spooky the deer...

Actually we are on a gout type diet...Mr B has had past problems...I'm actually pretty sure it is a flair up of tendonitis.. That finger surgery really messed up my hand...I was in therapy with it for some time...It's where the biggest concentration of pain is right now. lol Couldn't have bitten it of on my non dominate hand... So I went to the blind I built the other day to switch cards...woods are tore up again...no bird on cam but hen droppings in litter and this....That's a creepy eye shot...lol...

They are all feeding litters now...So many more mouths to feed and so much competition. This with fewer ground nesting birds...I can't remember the last time I heard drumming. Was 10 yrs ago they were periodically giving me heart failure ,flushing under foot,literally. Just one in the swamp in the last two years.

Thanks for the reminder...I'll spray mine ag a in today...between the black flies and everything else out there,I can't tell where these bites are coming from. As hot as it is, I wear my work out tights and turtle necks under the sprayed clothes all tucked in and socks pulled over. With the bee net over my hat. That tick I found on me has me itching all over any time I'm out and all creeped out about things in my ears! Damn Wrath Of Khan movie...never go over that scene....

Still rather see the Fox then the raccoon and opossum..both egg eating machines and opossum can have up to 12 little ones each year!
