    if you want cheap tree protectors, try benmeadows.com. They sell rigid tree shelters pretty cheap.

    If those trees are available come September/October they will be on sale real cheap! I picked up 15 apple trees two years ago from Lowes for $3.50 a tree.

    There are many different hunting styles out there ...I say hunt how u want as long ad you are hunting! Prep work- way behind this year. This is the first year in a long time I didn't stick to my 10 yr management plan. Work, kids and bullcrap took my time.

    that's great! I was hoping to plant my corn this past weekend but only got it turned over. Saw rain was coming this week. Looks like the corn will go in May 18th.

    oats and wr are easy to grow. I never used buck on the bag seed for oats or WR. I just go to my local seed co-op and purchase 50lb bag of field oats for $9 and WR for $15.

    deer love winter rye. WR is a grain not to be confused with rye grass.

    It takes me 6-8 hours just to plow. My fields arent flat and have alot of underground streams, so ground is wet. Plus something always happens to equipment etc.lol. Not all ground is equal.
