    The fawn I called in stood directly underneath my treestand and made the exact same sound as the bleat can before moving on,that's the only reason I figured it actually worked .

    90 acres in friendship for just me and my dad . 140 acres in java that my friend owns.

    On Saturday I saw a doe with 2 fawns coming down the hill as a doe with one 1 fawn went up the hill ,10 minutes later,3 doe went sideways on the hill ,they're not even on the same pattern yet by us.

    It's hard to say ,it seems like there is more hunters because it's easy to find fellow hunters on the Internet but I don't really know many other people who hunt. As far as kids getting into anything we did growing ,forget that ,I never see kids out building bike jumps or playing football or anything outside,you just don't see them outside anymore.

    A few years ago (actually when I first joined the site) we were seeing a fallow deer at my buddies house in friendship NY . I think I joined the site so I could post pictures to find out what kind of deer it was.

    I did walk across ,the whole time thinking "if I go down ,it's neck deep" Luckily the creek takes a sharp turn right after the bridge and most of the timbers are log jammed right there.

    Just about to head out myself ,with the bridge washed out and the creek flooded, it seemed like a good idea to be able to see where I'm walking.
