  1. No need to feel bad , I just wish we weren't running out of time so fast before the opener .
  2. I started a new topic in the classifieds on AT ,maybe we'll get lucky and track some down.
  3. 10,600 RPM . It comes with a steel jewelers type blade which i wouldn't use ,i would use a 2 inch 1/16 abrasive wheel.
  4. How many years in the trade do you have?
  5. They usually decide they have worn out their welcome on sept. 30th and go back to wherever it is they came from.
  6. They're more then welcome to stick around .
  7. Anybody know how Rob is coming along with his set up?
  8. Single pin for 3D and a 3 pin for hunting . To me that both have there place and I don't want to be moving the site on the fly or playing the elevation game when it's a bad shot on an animal at stake.
  9. Very cool , I still remember getting my first bow .
  10. I would shoot a coyote for sure but have never seen one , i have seen turkey but not taken a shot at one in many years. I just want to add that i don't have an issue with it ,i was just saying i haven't done it in a long time . I really like the point about letting the shooter know they are in for lots of work ahead of time.
  11. I've seen alot of animals from the stand while hunting deer and i didn't have a reason to shoot any of them .
  12. I picked up a cheap indicator to check it out ,I think I'm gonna make a base for it that mounts to the side T slot . This arrow had a .015 though deflection from the spine to the weak side.
  13. Where we hunt ,its buck not bucks . Every year we hope to see THE buck even if we don't get a shot . We have doe ,sometimes 15 at a time but they don't issue doe tags which is a real kick in the pants.
  14. it seems simple enough ,if the kid and mentor are out hunting deer then you don't shoot a bear ,regardless if its in season .
  15. I'd be better off washing myself in the creek
  16. I always wash and hang my clothes about a month before the season starts ,try to get them rained on a few times . I've been thinking about getting one of those netted laundry bags and dipping my hunting clothes in the Creek near my stand a few times before the season starts. What is your thoughts?
  17. Don't force a shot you are not comfortable making, it sucks to see Billy big boy keep on walking but it would suck a lot more (at least it should or you don't belong in the woods hunting) to wound him with a bad shot.
  18. You can add weight to the tip which would react like shooting a lighter spined arrow. Spine weight is a big deal on theses new bows with "hot" cams. I just got done fighting underspined arrows on my Impulse 31, as soon as i started shooting the new (heavier spine) arrows, my inconsistencies went away and I was only a couple site adjustments from done.
  19. Anyone else see the post that scent blocker made? They made a public tweet saying they support hunting and to show their support, they are currently offering 50 percent off everything they sell.
  20. Since i started shooting Elite bows and getting more serious about dialing in my set ups (the two kinda happened at the same time) I only send one arrow per spot on the target ,it keeps arrows from getting wrecked and it helps me find flaws in my technique .
  21. So I finally got some tuning time in with the new arrows, the field points like the brass inserted and the broadhead like the aluminum inserts, which is fine because they both shoot exactly the same as each other . Here is my first shot at 30 yards with the practice broadhead .
