I have a cell camera at my stand ,at the start of the season I typically see deer at all hours of the day ,so for me ,my all day sits start the first couple weekends until the corn is gone and they change patterns.

We're gonna get the shipping figured out tomorrow. The bow doesn't do anyone any good just sitting on my shelf . It's actually the first brand new thing I ever bought when I got a job and started working . Had it on lay away at Johnsons country store for 3 months. It would be really cool if Rob gets a deer with it too.

Gonna try out some spicy pulled beef burritos tonight. Hopefully they taste as good as it smells.

Do you need a bow ? I'll give you my old Alpine teton lite if you want it and it ill help you out . I still got the arrows i used with it too.

New bow (Impulse 31) which i can't get to shoot as good as my old bow (Z28) .As far as cameras and stand placement ,nothing changed , I did just receive my order of cinnamon tooth picks from amazon ,so those are ready for me to chew on in the stand.

It didn't start with hunting regulations ,the government has been throwing handfuls of crap at the walls for a long time now .

I don't mean to be a one upper but wouldn't it be easier just to drill a hole in the limb and then screw in a hook directly to the limb? You would always have away to hang your bow !

Usually the last one I shot in the basement hangs from the hook, the last one I took somewhere is still in the skb hybrid case and the 3rd one lays on top of that case.

CVA apex 30-06, you only get one shot but if you miss with that rifle ,you don't belong in the woods hunting.

4 or 5 yard target , one arrow . You should get to the point where you can keep hitting the original hole,this will help a ton with perfecting the release of your shot .

I had a rude awakening yesterday when my buddy called to say the 3D league we shoot in starts the 1st week in Aug ! All the shooting i have been doing was trying to get the Impulse to shoot as good as the Z28 . This year has flown by.

I'm thinking THEY did not live happily ever after.

My night to do dinner so I grilled some steaks ,peppers and some bacon wrapped chickenbreast breast.

I just show up and tell them and speak in the 3rd "jeremy K will be hunting your property this year" But in a seriousness ,I give credit to people who are willing to show up to a complete strangers house and ask for permission to hunt their land , it's a really big deal for the hunter and the landowner . I have my cell camera from Phade and 2 WGI out right now, my dad has 2 WGI out as well ,we haven't had any issues with any of them so far , I keep buying them because they're so cheap and just keep working.

Normally I use an adapter that plugs into my phone ,over the weekend deal I opted to bring the laptop because I new the cards had alot of garbage on them not related to huntin g and I needed to clear all that off and put them back in clean.

Good point about the poison ivy ,I don't react to it so i would never know if it was on me or not.

So we had our first kid in January which makes me a rookie to say the least . Sunday my dad and I went out in the woods and checked/moved some cameras and looked around . When I got home ,I picked up big meat and tossed him around a bit and played with him for awhile , my wife took him from me to feed him and noticed his cheeks were breaking out really bad! I totally forgot I had bug spray and pollen on me still. Luckily my wife put him the tub and gave him an oatmeal bath and it cleared right up . What a moron I am ,thankfully it wasn't worse. I figured some other fellow woodsman would get a "kick" out of that story.

I've never been able to find a core bedding area ,i've seen plenty of times where a group was laying down in the middle of the trail and left the big egg shaped spots in the frost on the ground but i'm sure that wasn't a bedding area.

My buddy sent me the pic ,I thought it was cool.

I'll continue to buy the rage from the local shop ,not to support rage but to support the local shop owner. He is a great guy and in fact just last night I stopped in with my bow that was shooting less then consistent and he stopped what he was doing to take me to his range and shoot through paper and make some adjustments at no charge .

You did the right thing , life is about experiencing different activities,clearly you showed them some things they would never experience otherwise.
