    My buddy let me hunt his stand last night in 9h ,they were on a move for sure ,I lost count of how many doe I saw ,all within 20 yards but no shot through the pine tree,had a little spike come under the stand at one point . This morning is gonna be high success rate for sure for alot of people . Good luck today people.

    I got the same deal as jerkman, I love it ,super painless to get it all going and set up. I put mine in a bad spot and haven't gotten much activity from it except fox and coons.

    I'm not sure science will ever figure out how a deer nose really works ,in order to test anything ,you need the deer to be present in a lab like environment ,well right then and there you change the way a deer in the wild will act to said odor . I'll continue to use cover sprays with the hope that they are actually doing something. If it helps you mentally to hunt harder and pay more attention to your hunt then I say it works ,just not the way it's advertised.

    We used to hunt state land in Angelica years ago and the deer where everywhere ,every couple years we go back but it's nothing like it used to be ,we hardly ever saw other people hunting there.

    My wife said the same thing ,her excactly words were "you know that it's gonna smell like the gutters if you let it sit to long" I'll try it tomorrow and saturday and then dump it. I haven't had any activity on any of my cameras so it can't get much worse then not seeing anything.

    I layered coffee filters and crunched up leaves in a strainer and poured hot water over them ,the juice that came out smells like a leaf pile on steroids ,I figure I'll put it in a spray bottle and try it for cover up spray. I bet pine needles would smell really good.

    Except for tree branches in the woods ,I can't recall any. My dad however told me a story about shooting at my uncles house and putting an arrow with broadhead through the backdoor of a 50s panel/delivery sedan that had been parked in the garage that some guy was gonna make a hot rod out of.

    It would just open a can of worms and give not honest people a reason to shoot deer during archery season with a gun and then shoot them with a bow.

    The vet told us that if Rupert swims alot that it will reduce the length of time the soresto collar is good for. Unfortunately for us ,Rupert can't pass a body of water without knowing what it's like to swim in it.

    We use the collar on our dog too,I tried the drops twice and both times it messed him up bad ,I actually threw him the tub and scrubbed it off with dish soap. Ticks are bad this year ,I had one crawling on my forehead last week.

    Suprised the zoo is not pressing charges , 7000 grand to replace the 2 moose ,I wonder if he gets to keep the ones he shot.

    The craziest one i ever saw was at my old boss's property ,there was a bus ,like the kind from that movie speed, parked in the middle of a fully mature forest , it was hard to get back there with a 4x4 truck , we never even had a clue how someone got it back there.

    I have pictures of that deer and 2 others the same size feeding in a woman's yard ,she can feed them from her hand . My guess is who ever shot it got cold feet after the shot and just said "screw this" . Which makes for 2 points ,the first being that these deer are so tame that how is it even rewarding to shoot one and the second point is that the neighbors around here enjoy seeing these giant animals walking the neighborhood which makes for alot of prying eyes if someone where to try and drag that thing to a spot to leave with it.
