All I know and need to know is that I wouldn't take that shot. With my luck either an errant gust of wind, my nerves, HIS nerves and any other host of things could go wrong. I like my odds inside of 20 yards.

I picked up a few gallons of ethanol free tonight from Schmidts Robo at Maple & North Forest. Maybe tomorrow night I'll start into the carb stuff............

The ethanol gas issue finally got me........I think I've been pretty diligent with all my power equipment but it looks like my Honda 3000w generator has an issue. I was very good about running it every couple months under load until this past winter/spring. A year or so ago I picked up a used EU2000i Honda at great price and the 3000K was neglected. I'm not positive it's the fuel but hope it is. It runs great then when you put a heavy load on it, it'll stall out. I drained the fuel tank, carb and sediment cup so far although those things won't help the situation it makes me feel better. The rest of it will be Googling my issues although if things don't pan out I have a couple local places I can take it to. It came from Philips Brothers when I bought it in 2002........ Damned ethanol!

I considered one for a while after I killed my biggest bodied buck with the bow back in 2011, he weighed 217lbs dressed and I know I'll never top it. I thought some kind of cryptic ink, highlighting the "217" somehow. I never went through with it, probably because I'm a cheap SOB when it comes to stuff like that. When I shot another giant in 2015 that weighed 205lbs (IIRC) I figured the heck with these tatoo thoughts..........these big heavy bucks are getting to be a dime a dozen.

Delta Sonic is an incredibly good answer to that issue. (Christmas stocking at our house ALWAYS have DS/Applebee's gift certificates stuff in) Trust me on that........
