Sorry this one is sideways.....

This morning I took Dan for ride down on the waterfront. Here are a couple shots from the banks of the Mighty Niagara. The top picture is a monster school of minnows. Guy were tossing nets and catching them left & right.

Dan just left a few minutes ago, we had a great time last night at the 'goat. AS others have said, putting a face to a name/handle is fun. Some times you're WAY off base and sometimes you nail it! As with Biz.........I NAILED it with him; as soon as I saw those 14" long pointy & shiny shoes I just smiled to myself.

Some might remember the attached picture, it was probably 7-8 years ago. I was sneaking around and wanted to peer out into a plowed field that occasionally held a strutting Tom turkey. I crept closer and closer to the edge of the field and then I spotted this red fox coming my way. I froze and prepared to defend myself if it came to that...........thankfully it did not. As he got within 30 feet or so I noticed something in its mouth. I stood up and he dropped his prize and ran like a scalded cat. After he was out of sight, I headed over to where his morsel landed.............(shotgun shell for comparison)

Looking good!! I can't wait to rest a cold Molson on the nicely finished wood top. BTW, I did come home after leaving your place tonight and put the Cetol 1 on the cedar porch trim. Considering it was ALL overhead work, I don't think too much made it to my armpits. Oh and next time, remind me to put my OLD glasses on.............

About ten years ago I bought and returned two or three turkey vest that I wasn't happy with. I'm still using my 1982 Duxbak Grand Slam vest, designed by the one and only Dick Kirby. It has been sewed up many times and carried a few gobblers. Retro camo to boot. Good luck in your quest!
