  1. I've chased down lots of bad odor calls over the years (in another life) and it was almost always a dead critter. Mouse, rat, rabbit, squirrel, bird, human etc. Never had it be an electrical issue........... Good luck and keep us posted!
  2. Saw that before and then the coffee was ready....... Happy Birthday lowrange!!
  3. Wish I had something to haul. Aluminum.......salt/rust etc can suck it. If I had a need I'd be all over this rig. Did you (GASP) try Craigslist? (never mind, I spotted it there)
  4. Hindquarters are intact, funny they would start with the ribs??
  5. It's a long story but I intended to fish Honeoye with my boat today but when I got down, I didn't feel so hot and the wind was picking up so I bagged it....the boat has been down in that area since last fall so its not like I dragged it down today. I decided instead to go drown so night crawlers in Canadice from shore. As most know I have a long history in that area and I just find it so relaxing. A few panfish and one dandy smallmouth were my total catch. Sorry pic is sidesaddle.....
  6. As a matter of fact, I saw one in Canadice today and two weeks ago while at a friends house on Sturgeon Point one flew over. Great to see every time!
  7. Very nice job. Out of curiosity, did you put a tape to that rack?
  8. Ha, I rode it by your house last Saturday morning......I'll beep next time.
  9. I'm with you grampy, I have no interest in handling them UNLESS they are on the end of a spoon. A friend of a friend made some of the most incredible chowder out of snapping turtles I've ever eaten. Tons of work I was told but simply outstanding. Cool and prehistoric looking beasts that they are!!
  10. OK guys & gals, here it is: 2008 Wildfire Scooter 50cc. Selling for my FIL and at my house in Amherst. Runs great, new battery, 1744 miles on the ticker. If whoever buys this wants me to keep it quiet, no sweat. I won't take any pictures of you on it and my word is solid. $650.............don't dawdle.
  11. Hardwood Lake? Snappers? AND FILTHY? Wow, what a derailment................
  12. Whoa! That's some heavy duty stuff, good luck.
  13. Good score. At one time I was hot for a CZ75 Compact PDR (or something like that). The desire past and I survived.

Oops, forgot to rant about the 150' of counter and sales people nowhere in sight. Sweet.........

Late this afternoon I was in the vicinity of Gander Mountain and thought I'd drop in. The wife and I browsed for 20 minutes and once again, the place just boggles my mind. I'd like to know who the genius is that designed the firearms counter/handgun display?? Black interior of the handgun cases and SALE tags over the freaking hang tags make it a real guessing game. Granted I do know a bit about handguns but there are so many different variants these days it's hard to know the players let alone the teams. Oh and don't rush out for those sale prices just yet.................maybe come January.
  16. If they're the orange ones, they're mine.
  17. Hey Bob.....Happy Birthday sir!! I'll tip back a bourbon in your honor tonight. Hope you have a great day!
  18. Forgot about the Weber Grill......I was doing a job off Klein Rd (Chestnut Hill Ct IIRC) and it was by the curb. Garbage day was still a few days off so I knocked on the door and said WTH? House was sold and they didn't have room to take it! I had my work van so I just bear hugged the SOB and heaved it in. $150 worth of new burners, grates and so TLC and it was like new. Since my Grill at home was still in good shape, I took it to my Uncle's cabin and it worked flawlessly. He sold the cabin a number of years later and it was left for the new owners. Long story but great score.
  19. Oh heck, you're drawn in like "bugs to a light" with a title like THAT.
