  1. I had a couple Summit stands. No flies on them but after using a Treewalker for the last 6 (I think) years you couldn't give me another. Thank me later................... http://www.treewalkertreestands.com/detail.asp?sku=ProMag&r1=chillpad&r2=gunholder&r3=padstrap-upgrade I take the gun rest off the front for bowhunting.
  2. Jeezzzzzuss, you got married at 12 years old? Mr B's a cradle robber...................... Happy Anniversary.
  3. Don't like that grampy..........you need to go to ER tonight? That's what their there for..................... Good luck friend.
  4. New deal....I bought a battery today ($24) and got this thing fired up. It has a remote and it works great! New price $95 (yea, more than what I started with, we'll see how it goes) and it's listed on Craigslist locally....... http://buffalo.craigslist.org/spo/5813464967.html
  5. Fletching glue? Elmer's? Surely you're joking....................
  6. The rain has stopped; the sun has broken through the clouds.......... It's going to be a beautiful day. Thanks John.
  7. Phew......what I'd give to be a little birdie watching from the next little hunk of brush! I wish you and the little princess all the luck in the world this weekend. Matter of fact, if the Good Lord has any good fortune waiting for me this fall, hopefully he sends it your way and I get the cob instead. There's going to be a few of us here waiting on the report!
  8. Burmjohns profile says he hasn't been here since Sunday afternoon.............
  9. Hey man, have a great BD. What's the plan for the day?????
  10. OK, one more shot at this.......... The broadhead tipped arrow hit the point of the shoulder and the impact was so extreme that the arrow separated from the insert and tumbled to the ground. Your eyes told you that you missed completely but your ears told a different tale. Next week that old doe will come into one of your setups and your aim will be true. Mystery solved.
  11. Old Faithful is a tree stand? If so, look under your stand. It wasn't (I know; it was at one point) glued in properly. Then it was inserted in your quiver in preparation for the hunting season. When you pulled the arrow out of the quiver after getting into your stand on the day of the issue, the broadhead and insert stayed in the quiver, lodged in the foam. You didn't notice that the broadhead was missing when you loaded the arrow........ At the shot, the broadhead/insert fell to the ground and is there now, in plain sight. When I'm not cruising Hunting Chat Rooms, I'm solving crimes around the world.
  12. So the insert is gone too? Gremlins....................
  13. So the insert is gone too? Gremlins....................
  14. Is the insert still glued into the shaft?
  15. I say we give rob..... A set of keys to the machine. Are you an IT guy, or just spending time at Holiday Inn?
  16. You have enough powers to be deleting posts; figured you could fix the rest of the issues. Figured wrong I guess.........
  17. In simpler terms; can't you fix it?
  18. Dang.................what a picture!
  19. You have the code to get into the system? Can't be much more than a stuck key or something........
  20. Hang on , I'll be right back................... OK, I'm back. Glad you're doing OK Grampy, things happen and I'd say you got out of that one pretty easy! Makes you wonder how we did it without cell phones. One thing that everybody could/should carry is a whistle. Although mine is attached to my safety harness, it's always there just 5-6" from my mouth. It's a Fox 40 Mini and it'll blow your mind how loud it is. No pea to rattle around either........
  21. Hang on , I'll be right back...................
  22. Lots of trouble on the site over the weekend. Thread started under General Chit Chat..........
  23. DDP (DAMN DOUBLE POST) I only hit the submit button once.........
  24. I texted him right after my above post. Things are going good for him, still living in northern NY. He sent me a couple pics of a mishap at work that fortunately didn't involve him. I encouraged him to pop in and say hello, I see he was here but didn't post. Maybe the forum woes have him hamstrung too?? Although I only had the opportunity to meet him once, he's one of those people you just get good vibes from and know they'll do just fine in life.
