  1. The ventilation in the indoor shooting range is up to code?
  2. A Bear Grizzly was my first recurve back in the 70’s. Hunted with it but never killed anything. I don’t recall for sure want to say it was 45# draw at 28”
  3. Any decisions yet? The Tract Toric 2-10x42 I put on my 7mm-08 zeroed easy enough as one would hope and works fine with the existing Talley scope mounts even with the Butler Creek lens caps I had to get for it. I made the move to the Tract towards the end of deer season so only shot enough to get it dialed in. A few weeks ago I intended on shooting it again at my buddies but the snow depth and distance to the range/bench quelled that idea. Hopefully in the coming weeks I can get some time with it. The power selector and adjustments all worked smooth.
  4. Happy Birthday Lee, hopefully you're on the ice somewhere. A fish filled bulging bucket would be a dandy way to spend your day.
  5. No Gen 5 for the Glock 21. I'd opt for the Gen 4 with the changeable back straps and other upgrades over the Gen 3.
  6. No interest in that as the Sig 365 covers that base.
  7. I can see the potential for a bent tailgate or smashed back window here....besides the danger loading and unloading that beast of a machine with a not so svelte operator and that trifold ramp. Just getting on & off the machine gives me the willys. I know it's done all the time many times a day across the world but...... I used to do it myself with my 450S Honda back in the day.
  8. One word.....Sig P365XL Correct me if I'm wrong; with Glock, being a retired FF you could buy a "blue box" at a significant discount? Do other manufacturers have similar discounts?
  9. I had the 27 for a number of years, sold it when I got the Sig 365. I handled the Sig 365 XL yesterday, it felt great in my hand. Also finger banged a Hellcat….almost as nice as the 365. Almost
  10. Who me? Springfield is where the Simpson's are from.....................
  11. I'm thinking about getting a new Glock, maybe a 10mm, maybe a 45ACP or even a 9mm.....NOT a 40mm or 380ACP. Years ago I had a Model 19 and then a Model 27. Sold both along the way and don't (didn't) miss them. The Model 19 in a more recent Generation could trip my trigger though... Model 20 or 21 is where I'm at now but could end up with nothing or something. This time of year seems to be when I acquire handguns.
  12. Never mind; the beer, Manhattan and Marywood wine are talking.................
  13. If there was EVER a place to have a GTG...............
  14. Congratulations on the house…..!!! Check in the classifieds here, Biz might still have stuff you could use for the new place?
  15. How do you make through the day? Go to Walmart, AutoZone or NAPA and buy a damn battery. You own a Jeep, quality can't be too important.
  16. Fugg.........(all the good condolences were used up) Seriously, sorry for your loss. RIP Brother
  17. These are both finished and I highly recommend both.
  18. Pictures? (and while you're at it, feel free to post another picture of your buck)
  19. My memory is short these days and I didn't recall if/when I ever certified so I plugged in my information and I'm good till January 2023. Could somebody remind me 1/1/2023 please....?? If you'd like to re-certify or check your status, this is the link: https://firearms.troopers.ny.gov/pprecert/welcome.faces
