  1. I googled “wooly bears” and I don’t think that’s them.
  2. And, they are very small. Maybe the biggest is 1.25”
  3. At my work we have a mowed alfalfa field next door. I mean just 10’ away…. In the fall we started to see an unreal amount of these little caterpillars coming across the blacktop driveway headed for our building. You couldn’t hardly walk to the back of the building without stepping on them. So as it got colder they seemed to disappear then a couple weeks ago the started coming out of the snow banks, heading for the building again! Some days in the high teens you’d see them. I don’t know what they are but snapped a couple pics last week and today. They have no problem crawling around in the sow our well below freezing temperatures. Cool little bugs.
  4. Here's a little tidbit from the OP's OP........... "Hunters will not have exclusive rights to 400+ acres. There will be some local neighbor hunters. The hunting pressure is very light." I doubt Gman has any connection to this. He really should have done a disclaimer.
  5. I still haven't decided what route I'll go with this.....A Gunbroker sale is going to entail a percentage back to GB & shipping. The use of an FFL goes without saying regardless of how it's sold. BUT, I should get a good price for it.
  6. I’ve sold a fair amount over the years on a few different sites (500+ items?) so know good & plenty pics sell items. With that in mind, here’s a few NOT the best pics from my phone……
  7. Dude............. You better get your ass back to WNY, that southern living is NOT agreeing with you.
  8. Some surveyors tape in your pocket is a good thing year round but especially this time of year to mark out things you’d like to investigate later.
  9. Spectacular. Stupendous. Sensational. Congratulations!!!
  10. I’m not saying you can age a deer by the skull but the one in particular that I have seems like XXL noggin of a linebacker.
  11. Sometime I’ll stop by with one European mount I have of a six point I killed, not your average six either. The DEC aged it at 3.5 (stock answer). He dressed out at 182lbs IIRC but had a considerably bigger skull than the rest of my European mounts. I do enjoy Genny beer……
  12. Oh I know it’s used……just that it’s in beautiful condition. There’s a slight turn line; who ISN’T going to cycle it?!?!?!
  13. I had three bucks on camera as recently as 1/29/2022 from today's card swap.
  14. Don't be silly. In his new neighborhood they must NOT have wheels onboard.
  15. I'd love to know if there is ANY restaurant in WNY that cooks meals even half as interesting as his?
  16. You guys ever watch the show on the Outdoor Channel "Wild Game" with Mike Robinson? I think its a great show. Makes me want to visit one of his restaurants in Europe. He cooks meals from wild game he has killed from start to finish and it is entertaining. Tonight it was "Fallow Deer Bourguignon".....damn!
  17. My FIL is retired from GM so my wife and I are entitled to the discount. My last GM truck I bought was a 2002 Silverado. It was a large POS........ In 2011 I bought a new Tacoma and then bought my second new one in 2020. My wife's two last vehicles have been Toyota, my daughter drive a Corolla, my son a Vibe. (it has a Toyota injun. lol) Have I made myself clear?
  18. A buddy has a 629 and it's the only 44mag I ever shot. Hopefully the last..... That's a nice looking gun, how old is it?
  19. Shepard's pie........I always forget to snap a picture before we dig in. LOL
