1. I guess I can see a slight resemblance……. (Aren’t they dressed in the Ukrainian colors in the OP?)
2. Because this is an AirLite, I thought I’d post two pictures to go with this. One is of this gun I’m selling and the other is a Ruger Mark I, both of course .22 long rifle. The Ruger is almost three times the weight of the Smith.
3. Smith & Wesson 317-3 .22 long rifle. Has lock and I don't have a key; never needed it. I probably have 100 rounds through it and I bought it 2nd hand. $625 shipped FFL to FFL No box No trades!
4. SD cards I could use..............
5. You could mothball your Subaru, pick up, camper and boat for a year and you’ll still be heavily effected by $150-$200 oil. Buckle up……(lol never mind, your not driving!)
6. The taxes generated at the pump will be incredulous. NYS wins again…..lol
7. Hunting season is a long way off, who knows WTF the situation will be in the next 7 months.....I may not be able to afford fuel for the Tacoma so could be forced to potting squirrels in the local park on foot. If I can find the money to fuel up the truck, I'll plug my share of Odocoileus virginianus.
8. And where they yard up is based on the current crop remains etc at that particular time in that particular place. All subject to change year to year, week to week etc.
9. Yea, I now have two tree saver straps in my bag of tricks. Glad I had the one I used at the time.....
10. I was just thinking.....last winter when I put the winch on my new machine I couldn't find help anywhere; Warn was ZERO help, the dealer was ZERO help and the web had less than zero tips or tricks. It took a couple days IIRC to get it done. That was just mounting the winch, not wiring. A couple weeks ago I buried it in a deep snowbank, luckily between the winch line, a tree saver strap and about 15' of heavy duty 5/8" (lol) nylon rope I made it to a tree for winching. It worked but damn that winch was struggling! I'm pretty sure it's a 2500lb unit. At one point I heard a loud creak/snap/uggh from it and I wondered if I snapped a mounting bolt? Although I rode it again yesterday I didn't take the time to inspect it for trouble.......I may bring it home from my buddies in a couple weeks for routine maintenance then will go over it.
11. Looks good Mr B….I hope you don’t use it until the winter of 2023.
12. Drag it to the road now. Some authority will grab it.
13. Nothing too serious for me….many times I pulled the trigger group from my 870’s and Benelli’s for maintenance. Shooting long guns left handed I can swap safeties blind folded. Cleaning the group consists of a liberal douching (by do those two words go well together) with Hoppe’s and an old toothbrush. A couple drops of ‘erl and your good to go. Pulled a couple Ithaca 37’s apart for HD maintenance and refinishing. Never bedded a rifle but was certainly interested in finding benefits that were possible from it. Always enjoyed monkeying with guns. Replaced some Remington 700 triggers with Timney triggers too.
14. A .243 is a hunting gun to shoot.
15. Shooting gun. Not much for hunt.
16. I don't think we've seen anything yet.................sadly.
17. Kenyon's was $4.19 and Top's was $3.99...........Transit & N. French @ noonish.
18. Main (Rt 5) & Transit (Rt 78) Mobil Station $4.25 twenty minutes ago.
