I had help as close as a phone call away..........the rest was on my own. There was no such thing as the internet then either, heck I don't think even Al Gore had dreamed up the WWW in 1991. I'd talk with my buddy quite often and read all I could then on the subject while experimenting. (still have all my digits and eyes too)

A brown cardboard box was on my front porch this afternoon when my wife and I pulled into the driveway. I had to shame her into cleaning up all the Tim Horton's cups (two) and other junk that was piling up in the map pockets. That afforded me the time to grab the box and sprint to the basement................. So I'm NOT the only one? Nice gun there lefty! Let us know how it shoots.

Yes, LOTS of great cameras available for much less than $300. Like handguns, it's the gun you're carrying at the time you need it. A S&W pocket snub nose is more likely to be with you that a S&W 629 or Kimber 1911. Little P&S cameras have their place, right in your pocket.

If its raining that hard, sure. If it's just a light drizzle or quick pop up shower or a wet snow or a dry heavy snow etc etc I'll take my wool any day over a shell. I'd also like to see the modern man made material that's going to last as long as a wool garment. As per usual, YMMV and opinions are welcome as long as they are in agreement with my view.

On a bit of a side note, the split pea soup you gave me the other day is down the hatch already. Kathy and I pounded it down on Sunday. It was excellent!

I have a bunch of wool and don't see a good reason coming down the pipeline to make a switch. I'll don an orange fleece vest gun hunting now and then.............

Nahh, store bought fresh today. I wasn't here when the little lady prepped it for the heater...........It was tremendous! I did the smashers while she ran to the drug store. Sour cream, butter and milk; all whipped like Cam Newton. Man was it good. We have broccoli probably 4 times a week for close to 20 years and we're still not tired of of it. I think we'll make some turkey soup tomorrow.

Yes I reload. No cons, all pros. Absofreakinglutely worth it. Slowly start accumulating the necessary goods via web sites like this or even (dread!) EBay. Read up on it, ask questions start shooting! No down side....................
